A/N: Ok this is about how Temmie was made if you're not really interested that's okay you can skip the chapter there's more Undyrus stuff in other chapters. Note: this is not accurate at all :) Okay enjoy!

Undyne took a deep breath in. This was it, the first day of her new job as the royal scientist. Excitement flowed through her veins along with first day jitters. She was somewhat shocked to find out that the queen had given her the job seeing that she had been so nervous giving her interview she could barley form a sentence.

She had met the former royal scientist, Dr. W.D. Gaster once before, when she first discovered her love for science she had gone to the lab just to look on the outside when she ran into the scientist. It had been a brief meeting, a simple hello and eye contact. She didn't know much about him, except what he looked like really. It hard to forget a face like that. She heard rumors about him, everything between absolutely brilliant and completely insane, sometimes both. She would have really liked to get to know him see how he was actually like. Sadly there was an accident in the core somehow and Queen Toriel was in need of a new scientist. So Undyne applied and the rest is history.

She had a number of ideas, recently she had helped make her good friend Napstablook achieve his dreams of becoming a star by designing and building a robot for him to occupy. But now a new topic had sparked her interest: Determination. Undyne had heard numerous stories of its amazing power of will harnessed by humans. It was fascinating! She desperately wanted to discover it's secrets. With the thought of monsters possessing the power of Determination, the possibilities were endless.

She took a crumpled piece of paper out of her jeans pocket as she approached the lab, it was the combination to open it. She punched the code into the keypad and opened the door.

The room was dark inside, Undyne fumbled for a light switch, groping the wall until she found one. Suddenly the room was filled with light and she made her way through the pristine lab. Once she became familiar with her surroundings, she immediately began to work.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Determination complicated was difficult to grasp, but seven months two weeks and four and a half days later she had done it. A formula that when injected into monsters should make them unbeatable when it came to humans. Now she just needed to test it she honestly had no idea how it would react with a monster. She synthesized a complex carbon compound from a piece of monster flesh from a Temmie earlier to prepare for the experiment. She injected the fluid into the substance. It reacted almost instantly, it's shape morphing, growing. The substance continued to do this p until it reached about three times it's original size, trying to morph it's original design. It became agitated and started moving quicker attempting it's escape.

"Oh man, what is going on with this thing?" She said out loud to no one.

Frantically, Undyne looked for something to contain the creature. She spotted a cardboard box on her left close to her lab table. As quickly as she could she dashed for the box and back, slamming the box on the fidgeting monster. Undyne felt a sigh of relief escape her as the creature quieted down.

All of a sudden she was thrown backwards landing on her rear. The injected substance had now formed itself into a Temmie except it's face. The monster's face had distorted itself from a regular Temmie face. It had small but noticeable fangs in its mouth and sharper claws as well. But the thing that Undyne found most disturbing was the creature's eyes. It's soulless eyes were like dark voids in its head with small, white pupils in the center.

Horrified, Undyne scooted backwards away as the Temmie clone hissed at her menacingly. It jumped off the table and gazed at her. Undyne did her best trying to hold still, her heart pounding a mile a minute. As slowly as she could, she backed herself up against the wall. He moved closer to her as if stalking his prey. However he stopped and turned around heading for a small window to the outside. He jumped back up on the table giving Undyne one final intimidating look before he smashed through the window disappearing into Underground.

Undyne sat on the lab floor trying to process what happened. Still shaking, she stood up and looked at the syringe she had used. She now realized this was dangerous and she shouldn't tamper with it, who knows what it would do to an actual soul. Coming to a conclusion, she made a collective pile of her research papers and placed them in a folder. She then locked it in a filing cabinet. She didn't know how long the amount of Determination would last hopefully not long but still she would tell the queen about the experiment results to let her alert the Royal Guards to be on the look out for Demon Temmie.

Undyne grabbed her keys after she patched up the window of with tape. She knew it wouldn't last but it would do for now. She turned the lights off, gave one last look at the abandoned lab station behind her and left.

A/N: Well here we are again! Hi secret_writer112 here and I'm back to writing again. We now know what happened the night Temmie was created. Yes I know Papyrus isn't in the chapter but don't worry he plans on making an appearance in the next chapter which I will upload as soon as I can. I plan to pick the story up when the 2 meet for the first time that should be fun. Sorry for the weird chapter but I just kinda did my take on Determination. But anyways thank you for reading! Let me know what you think!
