Blood splat all over the gray wall of the mansion. The crimson red liquid was the only thing he could see while he was screaming for mercy. "Margo! I told you not to watch those scary movies with your brother!" She turned the television off and scolded me some more. "Look at him, he's shaking!" I turned to my left to see my younger brother shaking in fear. Tears made his whole face wet, while he was covering his eyes from nothing.
"And?" I asked, giving my mother attitude.
"It will give him nightmares!"
"Living in this dump is a nightmare as it is. So what's the difference!" I stood up from the couch and headed for the door.
"And where do you think you're going?" I grabbed my gray crossbody bag from the coat rack.
"Their's a party that Ray is throwing tonight. I have to go."
"No, you don't have too."
"And why not, Mother?"
"Because I have to spend the night with a patient at the hospital. That's the reason I came here. because if I told you on the phone, you would have gone to the party anyway."
"You're right I would have." I opened the door before my mother grabbed my bag and pulled me back into the house.
"You're not leaving this house young lady. And if you do I will be able to know because of the camera's around the house." I was hot with anger.
"Now you're spying on me!"
"Well, I have to don't I? After that stunt you pulled sneaking out of the house to do, God knows what. I had to install them. And whether you like it or not, you are staying here to watch your brother. Got It!"
"Whatever!" I threw my bag on the floor and fell on the couch, my fiery red hair covering my shoulders.
"Stay here and don't leave this house!" My mother slammed the door behind her and drove off in her white Lexus. I whipped out my phone and started to text Ray.
Margo: Hey Ray, sorry. The She-Devil locked me in the house to watch my little brother. And guess what, she even installed camera's to watch me!
Ray: Really! Your mom's crazy. But, you have the stuff, so how are you going to get them over here. Remember, I'm paying you for the drugs.
Margo: I know, I'll figure something out.
Ray: Well, it better be quick. I have people breathing down my neck for some!
Margo: Yeah, yeah. I got it. I'll try to get the brother to sleep, and head over there.
Ray: What about the cameras?
Margo: I'll figure something out.
Ray: Well it better be quick! See ya.
Margo: See ya.
"Your gonna sneak out, and leave me alone!" Are you kidding me! That little punk was reading my text! "I told you not to read my text, Erin! Go to bed!"
"But-"
"Now!" My little brown haired brother rushed to his room. Jeez, I really hate my brother. I looked around the house for the cameras and found about thirteen of them, there are some blind spots around the house, mostly in the bathroom. But what do I cover them up with? Then, my phone buzzed in my back pocket. I checked my phone to see one of my best friends texting me.
Jes: Hey Margo, where are you?
Margo: Sorry, the She-Devil locked me in the house to watch my brother. She put cameras around the house too.
Jes: Really?! That's nuts! Are you still going to go to the party?
Margo: Yeah, but I have to cover or disconnect the cameras. Any Ideas?
Jes: Good, but you better hurry on that delivery. Ideas? Um, get your spray can and paint over it!
Margo: Great Idea! At this rate, I'll be there in 10.
Jes: Awesome! See ya there!
I went to my brother's room to see him under his blanket with a flashlight. He was shaking like crazy. I smirked. Slowly walking over to his bed, making sure I don't make a sound. "Come here, you Runt!" I grabbed him and dragged him on the floor. He screamed and kicked his legs. I took the sheets off of him and reviled who his murderer was. His face flushed with embarrassment. I looked down at his pants to see as he had peed himself in fear. I laughed hysterically. "You're such a wuss, Erin!" He ran out of his room holding a fresh pair of underwear and pants.
"It's not funny!"
"It's kinda funny!" I started juggling the bathroom door handle violently. Erin screamed some more.
"Stop!" I laughed as I ran down stairs and jumped over the railing at the end. I went to my room and opened my closet. A wall of leather and camo clothing standing between me and my stash of spray cans. I opened the gap between the clothing and grabbed some black spray paint. What will I do without Jes? I started covering the camera's with spray paint when I heard my gate rustling and a big thud. I started walking towards the back door. But I couldn't just abandon the cameras. I had to get them done as fast as possible. Plus, it was probably some animal. I finished the last of the cameras and went upstairs to see my brother fast asleep. Perfect. I locked his door from the outside so he couldn't get out of his room until I got back the next morning. I looked for my car keys. Nowhere, the She-Devil took them. I called Jes, for her to give me a ride.
"Yeah, I'll be right over."
"Thanks, Jes." I sat on my porch smoking a cigarette and waited for Jes to pull up. I heard rustling in the bushes but I just brushed it off and the animal that hopped my fence. Finally, Jes pulled up in her gray 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata. Very Tuff' car. Forgetting the door, I hopped in and blasted the music. It was about an hour drive to Ray's house. My house is about an hour from everywhere.
We arrived at Ray's mansion-sized house and walked through the door. I greeted and hugged many of people there as I was pretty well known at Boothbay. "Margo! You made it! You have what I asked for?" I set my gray crossbody bag on the table and took out the drugs.
"1 gram of Heroin, 0.5 grams of Crack, 8 pills of Speed, and 50 grams of Weed."
"Aright, how much do they cost?" I took out a small piece of paper from my back pocket.
"$69 for the Heroin, $45 For the Crack, $35 for the Speed, and $350 for the weed. So $590."
"Jeez Margo, how hard was this one to get?" He started counting $100 dollar bills as we talked.
"Very hard. My Drug guy kept giving me more fees."
"Here, now come on lets party!" He gave me the money and Ray gave me a shot of some dark red liquid. I took it and we started dancing to the music. Shot, after shot, after shot of this dark red liquid. my head was spinning as we drank and smoked. The time passed by. It seemed like an hour. My phone buzzed and I answered it, drunk and high.
"Hey! Erin, what's up little bud?" His voice was shaky and quiet. He ended the call quickly. "Jes, I have to get back home!"
"What's wrong? You don't have to go home in a couple of hours?"
"I just have to go now!" Jes seemed confused but agreed. We started driving home. I kept thinking about what my brother had said.
'Someone's in the house, with a gun. I'm under my bed. He's here.'
