I Can't Hear You {Captain America}

Prolouge

"Rowland just jump already." Gulping her eyes stray from her friends lips over to the water beneath the cliff.

"I can't." Refocusing her line of eyesight back on Rosie's lips, she waits for an answer.

"I'll do it with you. We can jump at the same time?"

"Just jump already!" Rosie being the only one of the two to hear the comment, "easy for you to say, you're not the one jumping in but if you're sooooo excited just jump your ass off this ledge yourself." Silence is her only reply. "That's what I thought." Rowland chuckles at Rosie's choice of words.

"We can do this." Right as the pair is about to jump off an arm comes towards them shoving them off. Causing Rosie and Rowland's hands to loosen their grips on one another.

Rosie falls backwards over the ledge as Rowland lands flat on the ground. Rosie slams into the side of the cliff rendering her unconscious immediately. Rowland grips both hands on Rosie's trying to pull her dead weight up all on her own.

The idiot who shoved them in struggles to help, grabbing her hips and pulling her up not realizing that Rosie had not yet fallen in the water.

Rowland looses her grip on Rosie as the guy pulls her up. The sound of  Rosie's body hitting the water reached everyone's ears even Rowland's. Screaming in anger and frustration tears falling down her face rapidly she yanks away from his grip and punches him before jumping in the water after Rosie.

Immediately Rowland swims to the bottom, the pond being as deep as it was caused her ears to pop painfully. She was only focused on getting Rosie ashore.

Getting under Rosie's body, she pushes off the rock and uses one hand to swim and her other to hold Rosie on her back.

Barely, she makes it out of the water pulling Rosie onto the grass. Her breaths were now in deep gasps. No one had jumped in after her. They were all gone. Rowland was too focused on giving Rosie CPR to realize that Rosie had no pulse.

Twenty minutes pass before the sound of sirens flooded the air. All Rowland heard was silence.

Rosie and Rowland belong to me but characters such as Captain America and Bruce Banner belong to Marvel. Pls don't steal my plot surrounding Rowland.
