Artemis POV
Why Oliver? Why? I love starling. I miss my friends and the guy I had to leave behind. Oh well who cares I didn't love him that much, but now i have to live with Roy. We never really got along. Why didn't Oliver take me with him??? Whatever I have to move my stuff in Roy's house I'm only going to stay for one year to finish high school and then I can leave, go back to starling.
"Hey Artemis," said Roy
"What do you want?"
"Well if I'm going to be taking care of you for the rest of the year I might as well get to know you." I rolled my eyes. He never really liked me before, so why now. Then a familiar voice said something while opening the door
"Roy. Why is there another car in the driveway? You're not cheating on me are you?"
"JADE!!!!"
"Artemis I haven't seen you since you ran away."
"Okay sorry to interrupt, but how do you guys know each other?"said a very confused Roy.
"Jade is my sister"
Roy gave a look of confusion," You mean from that abusive family where EVERYONE hurt you?"
Jade replied," Yes and I regret it deeply if I knew you actually had the balls to run away I wouldn't have hurt you."
I scoffed and ran to my room.
