Stacy's POV

I woke up to a strange being sound and a tight grip on my hand. I kept my eyes closed not able to open them.

"Stacy," I heard a familiar voice whimper. I wished I could tell them that it was okay, that I was okay.

"I can't believe she would do this to us," I heard another voice say.

"I can't lose her too," said another one. I felt lips press to my forehead and heart instantly flowed through me. I tried to squeeze the hand that was holding on to mine so that they would know I was okay, but I was only able to flinch slightly. I was in that weird place in dreamland where things seem real, but you know that they're not. I was sitting in a field of grass just by the lake that Jazmine and I always came to. It was hot, but there was also a soft breeze rustling my hair and moving the green grass around me.

I looked around and sighed. I closed my eyes and focused on the sun touching my face.

"Stacy?" I heard a familiar voice ask. I opened my eyes and my mouth fell open my eyes and my mouth fell open at the two people standing before me.

"Jaz? Kyla?" I managed.

"Hi baby sister," Kyla said smiling. I jumped to my feet and just stood there, wondering if they were real. I hesitantly reached out to touch them. My hand passed through them and tears started to fall from my eyes.

"I thought you promised me you wouldn't do this again," Jazmine said pointing to my wrist. I continued to just stand there in shock.

"Stacy," Kyla said taking a step to me. "Talk to us."

"I-I don't know what to say." I confessed hanging my head down.

"Start with how you're feeling," Jazmine suggested.

"Hurt, confused, angry, happy, sad," I said wiping my tears away.

"Why?" Jaz prodded.

"You left me. How could you leave me! You didn't even think about me!" I shouted at them. They looked at each other.

"No. We didn't think about you." Kyla said stating my worst fear.

"Because all we thought about was ourselves. Did you notice, that as you were laying there, about to die, you didn't actually want to die?" Jaz asked. I just nodded.

"We both went through that. Once it was too late we knew it wasn't the right way. If we could take it back, we would. I want to be back with my family." Kyla said with her own tears falling from her eyes.

"We love you Stacy, beyond anything. Be happy, that's what we want for you."

"I love you guys," I said. They smiled and gave me hugs. Though I couldn't feel their warmth, my heart was warmed.

***

My eyes fluttered open and I took in my surroundings. No one was in the room except for Mason who was sitting in a chair next to my bed. I felt my heart break when I thought about how worried everyone must have been.

The door opened and in walked Sophia with red around her eyes. When she saw me with my eyes open I saw her eyes start to water and she rushed over to me. She gave me a giant hug and I heard Mason starting to shift.

"I'm so sorry," I said with tears starting to fall from my eyes.

"Sh. I'm just happy that you're okay." Sophia said rubbing my back.

"I am too."

"Stacy?" I heard a rough voice ask. I looked over and saw Masons eyes looking at me. His hair was messed up and his eyes were red like Sophia's.

"Mason," I managed with a lump in my throat.

"I'll leave you guys, I need to go get Braiden." Sophia said giving me another hug. She left and I looked at Mason.

"Mason- I'm so sorry-"

"Shut up," he said pulling me into a hug. I could feel his tears falling onto my shoulder.

"It'll never happen again."

"Stop talking, Stacy." He said kissing my forehead. I felt my face heat up.

"Sorry," I said breaking his rule. He sighed and kissed my forehead again.

"I love you Stacy," he said. Butterflies erupted in my gut.

"I love you too."
