Across The World (Sad)

You're laying on your bed when you hear your phone go off. Unfortunately your phone was on the other side of the room so you slid off your bed and onto the floor and crawled over to your phone. Your emotions lit up when you saw it was your best friend of 4 years. But something was wrong.

A/N: y/n is Your Name and b/f/n is Best Friends Name. Also this is text messages down below.

b/f/n: Y/n I have to tell you something and you're not going to like it

Y/n: What is it? You can tell me anything...

Y/n: B/f/n is everything okay?

B/f/n: Yeah, but I'm moving to the other side of the world.

Y/n: What? Why?

B/f/n: Can I come over and explain?

Y/n: Yeah, of course..

You stand up from off the floor feeling tears run down your cheeks. This can't be happening you think to yourself. You keep telling yourself it's just a dream but it's no use.

. . .

After about 10 minutes you hear somebody knock on the door. You rush downstairs and open the door to see your bestfriend in tears. You give them a hug then ask why.

"Because, my dad is getting a job there and we need to move with him. I know it's not fair because I'm 16 and can take care of myself but my parents won't let me, no matter what I say or do." B/f/n explains. "I don't know maybe it's for the better." They say, breaking down into tears. You put your arm around their shoulder and told them it will be okay.

"M-maybe you could move in with me?" You suggest. B/f/n shakes their head at you, ad if you already knew the answer.

*For then next few weeks you and your best friend spend pretty much all of your time together, having fun and doing the things you normally do as friends*

It was B/f/n's last day before they were off to the other side of the world. You didn't get any sleep the night before. Your best friend, your only friend, was moving to the other side of the world, how could you sleep. You meet B/f/n at the airport to say your final goodbye's. You looked at them with sadness in your eyes and they looked back.

"I'm going to miss you, so much." You managed to choke out before breaking into tears. B/f/n hugs you tighter then they've ever hugged you before and you felt their tears fall onto your shoulder.

"Here, take this so you'll always remember me." They say, handing you their prized possession, practically shaking. "I know you'll never forget me but I want you to have it, just in case you do." You take the gift, speachless. You watch your best friend turn from you and walk away.

And that's how your best friend, turned into an internet best friend.
