Daisy 28, bird in a cage 11
By: ECole789
Graceful Intricacy...
The Harp Strings,
At an Angel's Fingertips--
Such is the Strumming,
Of Your Chords--
Bird--
In a Cage...
A Sweetly Enchanting Melody,
Beyond His Hearing's Understanding...
Mere Pretty Tunes,
They are,
Upon Man's Ignorant Ears,
Your Self-Soothing Lullabies--
In the Place of What Should Be,
Your Tears...
Man's Ignorant Eyes,
Intently Gaze Upon You,
As You Sing--
Your Coded Self-Numbing,
Lullabies...
Forlorn Tears,
Maybe...
You Truly do Cry,
Beneath Those--
Delightful Feathers,
Might They Stream,
To Hide?
