Chapter one: the returning

Nightmares POV

"Phew! What a day! I better head home!" I ran down the path to our house and went in "Hi mom!" "Oh...hi honey I made you a lammington cake!" "Thanks mom! Is quillia home?" "No she went to the training area to train! Go get ready time for your training with sparrow." "OK bye mom!" I went upstairs and wore my armour and grabbed my dad's only sword and I went beside the ocean to see sparrow. I trained for 2 hours and went back home. I went to me and my sisters room and slept in my bed. The next day came. I woke up and went downstairs to grab some breakfast, I went outside after eating and went back to the training area with sparrow. "Hey sparrow! I'm ready to learn how to use this staff!" "Alright go there. now focus and hold your staff tight... Now ease your mind and release the power of the staff" "alright sparrow..OK *sigh*..... Boom! Did it work?" "Not really here let me show you" then sparrow went behind me and held the staff. He held tight focused and then the staff released a spell. "Wow! Awesome! Let me try sparrow!....OK focus and release!" Then the staff released a spell and I was happy "YAY!!! I DID IT!!!!" I was so happy I didn't pay attention a spell hit me.

Sparrows POV

A spell hit nightmare and she fell right on top of me... I took her off but she's still unconscious "Nightmare? Nightmare?! NIGHTMARE!!!" She wouldn't wake up.. I took her to the master of spells in our village.. I layed her in the table while the master did her thing.. "Ah yes she's been hit you say? Hmm.... I think I can fix this..let me brew some potions." After a few hours she finished making the potion. "alright here we go and....." She splashed the potion at nightmare but she didn't wake up.. "The potion didn't work....i'm sorry young man....she's dead.."

Narrator's POV

Sparrow cried and told nightmares family. They took a boat and put nightmares body in the boat. They set the boat on fire and pushed the boat away..one by one they went home but sparrow never left..

Sparrows POV

I kept crying and crying "nightmare....why did you leave like this.....I never got the chance to tell you....I love you..." I cried more and more and left but then I heard nightmare screaming. She fell in the water. I jumped in and pulled her back to the village..I gave her CPR and she woke up I was so happy "nightmare! Your alive!" "Huh?? S...sparrow!" " nightmare...I have something to tell you... "What is it...." "Nightmare I....I.... I love you.... Will you...go out with me?" "S...sparrow.....of course..." We smiled and talked as the sun went down..

Nightmares POV

I went home and saw the evil King I ran and saw as the guards held my mom "well...well....well who do we have here?" "Evil King! Let my mom go!!" "Alright I will..if...you marry me..." "W...what that's absurd!" "Marry me or I will kill your mother!" "M..mom...." "Don't do it Hun..." "I...I'll...do it..." "Honey!! No!!" "Great let that peasant go! Come with me nightmare.." "Honey!!!"
They took me to the evil kings castle and one of the guards led me to a tall tower there was one bed and one table with a book.. I started to write on the book here's what I wrote...

Dear Diary,

They took me away from my mother...I miss her... But.... It's the only way to save her and my sister....I....I wish my dad was here to save me.....i.... I miss him....

I went to bed and slept..the next day came.. The guard gave me breakfast I didn't really like it it was just 1 rotten bread but I had to eat it I was starving. The guard called me down "hey you nightmare." "What is it guard." "Here." "A....milkshake....but your the evil kings Knight..." " I may be his guard but I'm not evil..." "Thanks guard!! Bye!!" I went up to my small tower bedroom if that makes sense.

Guards POV

*sigh* "I'm sorry honey....I...can't be with you....I had orders....I can't let you know who I am....I had to pretend to be dead for you and your mother and your sister...I'm sorry..."
