Sorry for the wait!

---------

-Two months later-

Tomorrow we set off to Mordor. That night gave me no sleep nor thoughts. In the morning we all were ready to go. I had a small pack containing a few extra clothes and my songbook. Lord Elrond bids us farewell as we set off.

"Mordor Gandalf, is it left it right?" Frodo says.

"Left." was his reply. Then we began the perilous journey.

--------

We walked in silence. The only sound was our feet hitting the ground in a rhythmic pattern. Lingering at the end of the line of us all was me and the other elf, Legolas. We took a small break near a patch of rocks. I sat on one and retied the laces of my boots. Boromir was teaching the hobbits how to use a sword and Aragorn say beside me and watched.

"Why is it that you came on this quest? If I may ask," he questions me. I stop tying , giving his question a good thinking.

"Sauron killed my mother and grandfather. It would be...interesting to see his downfall." I reply. He raises an eyebrow, but says nothing more. We sit in silence as the hobbits tackle Boromir. I laugh as the one says; "For the Shire!"

"What is that?" someone says. I look upwards seeing a black form coming towards us.

"Nothing but a wisp of cloud," Gimli says. I squint to see closer.

"Birds?" I say.

"Crebian from Dunland!" Legolas says. We hide, I'm under a rock and oh lookie here! There's a spider crawling up my leg. Spider. On. My. Leg. I pinch my lips together and flick it off. That thing was fat!

"All clear!" I yell looking at the cleared sky. We come out of our hiding places and continue up through the Carahadras.

The atmosphere gets colder and colder and unlike some other jackass elf I can't walk on snow as if it were concrete. I scoop up some snow and hurl it at the back of his head. "Sink already! For goodness sake!" I exclaim. He smirks slightly and I scowl. There's a voice in the air. It is faint but I can hear it.

"There's a fell voice in the air." Legolas says.

"Thank you so much captain obvious!" I say sarcastically.

"Saruman!" says Gandalf and he tries to ward off the spell. Moments later we are covered in snow. I am currently unable to surface. Not able to see the top.

"This will be the death of the hobbits!" I hear as a hand grabs my arm and pulls me out of the snow. I turn to see Gandalf had helped me.

"Thank you, Gandalf." He smiles and i return it. He turns to Frodo.

"Let the Ringbearer decide. " he says. Decide what?

"We will go through the mines." Frodo replies hesitantly. I sigh.

"So be it." Gandalf mumbles, clearly not liking this choice. West start down to the Mines of Moria.
