To say the least, the prison was terrifying. The group of skilled ninja didn't know whether it was the large eerie stone pillars, the deadly swirling and rushing water below a rocky and high cliff, or the way the moon seemed to give off an odd blood red glow through the thick fog.
"Lady Tsunade, might I ask what we are here for again?" Kurenai asked
"We are here to pick up an inmate that might be able to help us with the upcoming war. He lived in the Hidden Leaf not too long ago before he almost destroyed the village."
The rest of the team's eyes widened. "That can't mean- him?" Kakashi asked, shocked.
Tsunade nodded her head gravely, "I'm afraid so. We must show him our upmost hospitality so he will feel safe in the village."
They group of ninja walked inside of the max-security prison and stopped inside a large mess hall with a guard. Nobody noticed them yet. The prisoners were lined up to get dinner and a large man packed with muscle and tattoos sauntered to the front of the line. Before he could get to the food a small hand gripped his shoulder and stopped him.
The man looked behind him and saw a small boy about 13 years old with three odd whisker marks parallel to each side of his face and bright blue eyes staring back at him.
The man tried to shove off the boy's hand but that only caused him to tighten his grip.
"Get the hell off of me kid before I have to teach you a lesson about respecting your mom
." The man said. The entire mess hall became quiet and all eyes were on the two.
The boy grinned widely, "You must me new here."
The man nodded slightly, "What's it to ya, punk?"
"Oh nothing! It's just that you might not know the rules here, that's all."
The large man looked puzzled and continued to walk forward. He felt the boy grab his arm and jerk him in front of him, "I didn't say you could still cut in front of us."
The man grew angry and lifted the boy up by his shirt. The young whiskered boy wasn't fazed the slightest. Instead he met the man's steely gaze with an even stronger glare.
"Oh yeah, and why's that?" The man grunted.
The boy grinned and kicked the man in the crotch, which caused him to release his grip. The boy dropped the floor and judo flipped the man. He kept a strong grip on his arm and pressed his foot on the man's chest, making it hard for him to breath. It happened so fast, the group was shocked.
"Because I'm top dog around here." He said with a smirk
This caused the other inmates to laugh. The man cursed at the kid and stalked off to the back of the line.
"Naruto Uzumaki. Your presence is requested. Looks like you're getting released, kid." The guard said.
Murmurs ran through the hall and Naruto's eyes widened and has stood up.
He laughed, "Fuck yeah! Alright, Hanma, my man, you are in charge now! And make sure you guys listen to Mui. Respect him, that guy's cool!"
He ran up to the guard and the group of ninja. They walked up to the main office.
"Hey, Idare? Why are these guys here, I thought I was being released." Naruto asked the guard.
"We need you to help our village in the upcoming war. After you may either stay or leave." Guy answered.
Naruto nodded, "Why not. Where are you guys from?"
"The Village Hidden in the Leaf."
