Author's note: I was not planning on writing at all just yet but hey, here we are. I'm pretty excited about this story so I hope you all enjoy!

"This over here is the living room..." Jennifer Rosales, Rihanna's personal assistant, told Aubrey as they toured what it looks like a mansion to him. It was easily one of the premiere houses in Calabasas; he didn't expect that sheer grandiosity of her home. Yes, he saw stuff like this in magazines and it's very surreal for him to be in one of these houses.

After leaving the military two years ago, he found himself working as a bodyguard for some important people here and there. Usually, it's been politicians but he truly never liked how fake they were with the people and what they were really like behind closed doors. It made him despise politics in general even though he wasn't very much into it in the first place.

It was almost two to three weeks ago when he was presented the opportunity to work for one of the, if not, the most popular woman in the music industry.

At first, he was hesitant because being a bodyguard for politicians didn't give him any hassle with the press. Aubrey was just in the background, he was practically invisible just like how he liked it. He knew well enough that he would have to deal with paparazzi most of the time with this new job, on top of trying to protect this very important woman. This gig was a whole 'nother ball game that he had to learn.

"This place is huge," he commented as he noticed how the living room was literally the size of the apartment he lives in.

"It's either very empty, or very crowded depending on what day it is, you'll get used to it." she continued walking, "Speaking of getting used to things...Rob..I mean Rihanna...she's not particularly happy about a new bodyguard, one that will be extra strict and meticulous. Frank was a great guy to have but since things have been getting crazier with her, stalkers here and there and even a few minor death threats, which she pretty much ignores, we just want to be an extra step ahead. She likes to keep her people..umm the same? If you know what I mean. You might have heard things here and there as I'm sure of but I guarantee that there's no other way to get to know Rihanna than by just seeing and being there in person."

Aubrey nodded his head with agreement.

"Rih is a great girl. Just be patient with her because you're new. She is very private so anything that gets talked about and what happens will not be leaked to the press. Am I clear on that?"

"Of course. I'm not here to gossip."

"Good. I had to look everywhere for a guy like you. I've heard great things, Mr. Graham so I'm absolutely thankful that you agreed on taking this job. Money isn't an issue to her so please, if you have to stay longer some days, you will be compensated properly."

They continued to walk around the house as Aubrey familiarized the place well. It was indeed a dream to own a house like this.

Despite the expensive furniture, grand paintings, almost incalculable awards displayed in cabinets, and platinum album certifications that hung perfectly on the wall, what was interesting about the whole place is that there are no pictures of the superstar at all. If her name were not on these accomplishments, you really would not know that this house belongs to the one and only Rihanna.

Private wasn't even the right word for these types of things.

Once they reached the end of the house tour, Jen and Aubrey decided to hang around the kitchen area to talk even further.

"Do you have any questions for me so far?"

"No, it's all good. I wouldn't really know the job until I'm already doing it."
