Prologue/author's note

I stared terrified at his tall masculine stature as he sliced my best friend's throat like it was nothing. The other guy was on the ground, his eyes lifeless and no longer moving.

Angela's hectic scream kept on ringing in my ears as I was sitting to the cold ground, not even being able to speak. That's how scared and shocked I was.

When he finished his first victim, he took slow steps towards her trembling form. Her big green eyes were watery from tears as she looked up at his cruel blue ones. His face was solid, showing no emotion.

The girl tried to escape by running to the other side, having the fruitless  hope that she would startle him. She failed, and he grabbed her wrist, making only a small fast move, snapping the bone in two. Before she could even manage to scream more from shock to the sight of her limp than fear, he finished her off by cracking her head to the stony wall.

I let out a small whimper, regretting it immediately after his eyes snapped to my direction. 
I stood up with my knees trembling.

 He was coming closer and closer, making me step back in panic, praying that the luck i wasn't gifted with from birth, would somehow take me out of this situation. Anyhow.

As if things couldn't get worse, my escape came to an end once my back came in contact with the unpleasant sensation of the wall. It was a dead end. 

That's it! Goodbye world!

I closed my eyes, waiting patiently for the suffer of my body being ripped apart. 

And eeeh...Nope.  It never came.

Instead i felt cold, big hands traveling across my torso, right from the inside of my shirt. I shivered, letting out a small shriek once his finger brushed my left nipple. I unintentionally looked up, freezing instantly.

His eyes, i would have swear they were clear blue before, but if you looked closer you could notice a small tint of red mixed in them. God, they truly had the power to froze  Xia Dynasty's Army in one second. There was something charming yet cruel about them.

His smile was even more terrifying, as he pressed me harder to the wall. I was sweating like crazy, trying to relax my breathing. 

His soft, cold lips touched the sensitive end of my earlobe. ''Shhh, it's okay now sweetheart'' He whispered huskily, trying to calm me. As if he wasn't the monster that made me lose everything, he was calmly acting like an innocent bystander.

Hello guys, this is my first book and I'm really into it! I  must be a freak for getting turned on, on my own story but whatever! Nobody's perfect! XD
