Chapter 27

I touched his face "I told you Matt, you already have it. You don't have to earn it anymore" I sighed "Why do you want so hard to make it up to me?"

"Cause I've hurt you so much and you nothing but forgave me. I don't deserve you Anna. But I want to make it up to you to prove to myself that even though I'm not worthy of you, I'll do everything I can to make you happy"

"Matt, don't say that. I don't deserve you either but that's the thing. We both feel like we don't deserve each other, but we do. It might have felt like that for the past few months but now it doesn't. I have never felt complete without you. You make me me. I love you, Matt"

He looked shocked.

"I always have. Even after we broke up, I never stopped loving you. I just tried to get you out of my head but I couldn't. I love you" I smiled

I felt his lips on mine before I knew it. He kissed me with hunger and passion. He kissed me like he had been starved.

"I love too Anna" he said when he pulled away "I love you soo much and I never want to hurt you ever again"

"I know" I said with my head on his chest

We sighed.

Next day, I woke up with Matt sleeping beside me in the master bedroom. As I touched his cheek, his eyes snapped open and he smiled

"Hey" I said

"Hey" he said back

I smiled

He pulled me closer to him
"What do you want to do today?" He asked

"I don't know" I said "Stay in bed with you all day"

He groaned "That can be arranged"

I smiled and snuggled closer to him. I sighed peacefully
"I miss you Matt"

He sighed. I guess he knew what I meant
"I'm not going anywhere this time"

We stayed in bed till we were bother hungry. Then we went to get something to eat. The day was fun. We walked along the beach, we went swimming. We stayed indoors and watched movies.

A few weeks passed and I was six months apart. We finally went back home. Kat and Elsa came by the next day after Matt reluctantly went to work

"Spill" Elsa said

"Okay so we just went to your family's island"

"Explains why I couldn't reach you" Kat said

"Yeah"

"So?" Elsa said

"We had fun" I said

"Seriously? That's the best you can come up with" Kat asked

"Obviously you had fun but we need details" Elsa said

"Nothing happened. We just talked things through"

"Oh really..."

The conversation went on. There was something they weren't telling me.

Matt's POV

I made Anna think I didn't want to go to work today. I dressed up for work when she finally pushed me (Well she thought she did). I kissed her goodbye and left. I didn't even bother to go to the office, I just wanted to execute my plan.

I called Kat and Elsa and told them about my plan. They were really happy to help and told me not to worry about Anna. They were gonna take care of her.

I immediately called Pablo after and told him I was on my way.

I got to Pablo's store and I was ushered to his office.

"Matt O'Connell, its been a long time my friend" he said with his Spanish accent as he hugged me

"Sí Pablo" I said

"Please have your seat" he said "I was surprised when you called me a few days ago and said you wanted to see me"

I smiled

"So you're in love then" he said

"Yes my friend" I said

"Then I must meet this woman who has captured my friend's heart. But first things first" he rose and went to pick something behind him. He brought it and placed it on the table between us. He opened it "These are my best. They're hard to find"

My eyes scanned it and it immediately landed on one I couldn't tear my gaze away from. I picked it up.

"That one is special. It is one of a kind. Only one piece was made, and you're holding it. You have good taste my friend" Pablo said

I smiled "I'm taking it"

I went to set everything. I didn't have to worry about Anna cause I knew she was with Elsa and Kat.

Evening finally came. I called Anna.

"Matt?" She said

"Hey baby" I heard her giggle "Are you hungry?"

"Yeah" she said

"Okay. Get ready I'll come pick you up"

"No its fine. Just come home, we'll order something to eat, besides Elsa and Kat are here" she said

Oh no! She wasn't gonna ruin my plan.

I heard Elsa and Kat in the background telling her they were leaving.

"Uh, they just left. Something's been up with them since morning"

"Uh. Okay. So I'll come pick you up now" I said

"Okay" she hung up

"Wear something nice" I told her

"Okay" I could picture her smile

I smiled as I drove home. Today was gonna be the best day of my life. I got home and went to get ready too. I didn't want to disturb Anna, so I used the guest room downstairs. I finished and waited for her in the parlour.

"Matt" I heard her

I turned round and saw her in a white dress. I swallowed audibly. It was fitted to every curve, and the belly bump just made it look more enticing. It stopped just below her knee. She fitted it with nude heels and hot red lips. I went to her and kissed her. If I hadn't, I don't know what would have happened to me.

"You look...perfect" I told her.

Perfect was an understatement. But it was the only word closest to how she looked.

She smiled "You too" she pulled my tie towards her and pecked my lips "Now where to?"

It's been a long day. Thank you guys for giving me yesterday off. So here's another update. As you can see, The Pregnant soon-to-be Wife is coming to an end.

I think I have room for one or two more chapters. Hopefully I'll be able to get everything into a chapter and publish it tonight so stay tuned.
