Hello!

I've decided to start a blog

(the one you're reading right now)

Why? Well, you know when you mix vinegar with baking soda and it explodes everywhere? Yeah, well now imagine the vinegar is my feelings and the baking soda is my opinions and sprinkle in the fact that I'm to shy to say them out loud and then you'll have your answer on why this blog is being started.

Anyway, my best friend Olive said that I should start a blog because she's getting sick of being the only one hearing about my problems, what a great friend. I've always liked the idea of having a blog, but I just didn't think I'd have the time but turns out I do. I know you're thinking "well why didn't you just write in your diary or talk to yourself?". Well imaginary person I wanted to be able to help others through their rough times by talking about my own, or just to entertain people by wiring about my lame and boring life.

Now that you know why I'm writing I think I should tell you a little bit about myself! Hello, I'm Rosemary, in exactly one year I'm going to be a collage graduate from School of Visual Arts in New York! I'm both happy and sad to be graduating. I'm excited to start working as a photographer and eventually open my own photography studio, but it's my dream school and I don't want to leave.

I'm originally from Appleton a small city in Wisconsin, but for the first three years of my life I lived in a few different places in Michigan. Anyway not the point, I love to write in my free time (obviously) I don't get a lot of free time though so don't expect a new post every day or even every week.

In other news I just came out to my parents and grandparents, oh yeah I'm gay by the way. Now I just want a girlfriend, I asked a few girls out but they were all straight, the struggle is REAL. I'm also asexual, all that means is that I don't experience any you know... sexual attraction to anyone, in other words I like kisses and cuddles ONLY!

Anyway the main reason I'm writing this is to share some pointers if you're going into collage, these would also work for high school.

1. If you're confused chances are everyone is confused!

- Trust me if you're confused you're not alone! Talk to your teacher and everything will be okay!

2. Don't stress! Talk to your teacher!!

- Pretty self explanatory

3. The first week or two is going to be hard if you don't know anyone.

- If you know a lot of people, great, but if you don't I got you fam! If you're shy just start one conversation a week, you never know who your next best friend will be. If you love to make friends then you're set!!

4. Don't save your homework for the weekends unless of course it was assigned on Friday and do on Monday.

-It'll reduce your stress level when you can just relax over the weekend!

5. If you have to and your parents will let you take a personal day.

- If you feel like you're going to explode from stress then just take a day off to re-group.

6. Don't involved in drama.

-JUST DON'T GET INVOLVED IN DRAMA THAT DOESN'T CONCERN YOU!!!!

7. Save time for your passions.

- IT'LL MAKE YOU HAPPIER!

8. The first year probably is not going to be the best year.

- Plain and simple, the first year is going to be good, but not the best.

9. The relationships you have in collage are most likely not going to be the best relationships you'll ever be in.

-A lot of kids in collage experiment with same sex relationships or they aren't really sure who or what their looking for. Also collage kids can be kinda rude in the beginning. ALWAYS USE CONDOMS IF YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE SEX!!!

10. Breath it'll be all right.

no explanation needed.

I hope these tips help you and also don't stay in your dorm all of the time! Get out and experience the world! I know its scary but if you never get out and see the world, make new friends, and become who you were meant to be. Also my favorite thing about the collage atmosphere is that you're professors treat you like people, not like you're below them!
