I was an only child and I wanted a sister sooooooooo badly. I was 7 years old and every time it was my birthday I would wish for a sister while blowing out the candles, every time I saw a four leaf clover or a shining star I would wish for a sister. My parents knew how badly I wanted a sister so one day they called me in for a meeting. I walked into their room anxiously and was so nervous with what was about to occur.
"We have talked for awhile and decided that we are ready to adopt a girl so you won't be so lonely" said mom.
I was so excited!
The next day we went to the adoption center and adopted a girl. She was 2 years old and her name was Addison. I instantly became attached with her and would always play with her.
10 YEARS LATER.................
Today was Addison's birthday! She had just turned 12 and decided that she wanted to be an actress so my parents said yes. I wasn't much into acting so I would just play sports.
2 weeks later Addison went to audition for the show The Thundermans on Nickelodeon as Nora Thunderman. She got the part and we were all so excited! I was so proud of my adopted sister and I don't know what I would do without her.
