This is my experimental story, so please feel free to criticize every little detail of my novel to help me

This is Jace ^

-Jace's POV-

I awoke to the tantalizing smell of bacon wafting upstairs. Turning on my side, I notice it's almost 11:30am. Too late for work, but what the hell, being a novelist has it's perks.

I slowly drag my solid 6'3" frame to a sitting position on the edge of my bed. Stretching the grogginess out my muscles, I force myself up to stand. Blinking rapidly to focus my vision, I start the journey to the kitchen in search of my second favorite food group. Fruits being my first (And yes, bacon qualifies as it's own group).

Finding the source of the delicious smell, I was faced with an even more delicious sight, my soon to be bride. Standing at 5'5", she was easily dwarfed by my tall stature and defined muscles. She was a thin almost frail looking angel, but if you got on the bad side of the brunette goddess before me, you'd never live to regret it.

"hey babe" I called out nonchalantly, while simotaneously reaching for the plate that held the already cooked strips."Not a chance" she scoffed, smacking my hand away from the tempting pile of goodness."Fine"I said, "I'll just grab something else to eat". Not giving her time to process my ennuendo, I quickly snaked my fingers around one of her firm cheeks and gave a playful squeeze.

The glare she gave me could've killed a cobra, but I knew she was fighting back a smile. I sat down at the dining room table to wait, smiling at the contentment I felt.

After an eternity of hearing my stomach eat itself, seemingly to nonexistence, a plate of delicious smelling bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns was set in front of me. Across the table, an identical plate was sitting in front of my fiancé. She looked amazing, from her bed raggled hair to her breath taking smile. I was completely in love with her.

After breakfast she got ready for work, as an accountant at a large firm. Her clients kept us living comfortably, and gave me the chance to pursue my career as a writer. Having just published my first novel, we took a vacation to Paris to celebrate.

That was about a month ago.

"So, how do you like it?" I ask, giving a cocky grin. Her expression gave the answer for her. "Oh my god Jace, it's amazing." The twinkle in her gorgeous brown eyes as she looked out at the city beneath us was priceless.

When I decided to take her to the Eiffel tower, I knew it would be something to remember.

"Jace?" I turn to her "yeah baby?" "I said I'm heading out, do you need anything from the store on my way back?" I go over a quick list of the necessities "I don't think so" I say, giving her a loving smile.

She leaves after saying goodbye. I decide to shower, then mow the lawn. I head to the garage, eager to get the chore over with. The day is warm, but a cool breeze keeps it from being overwhelming.

After I put away the mower, I sit down to watch some television. Not much is on at 1:30, so I decide to take a quick nap. Stretching out on the sofa, I relax into a restful sleep.
