Chapter 2

**So here is the second chapter. I really hope you like it, I'm sorry if this storey isn't very good. I am pretty much failing English, since I'm slightly dyslexic. I just thought I would have a go at writing, because I love reading everyone elses great stories

CODY'S POV

We arrived, todays activity was horse riding. See each place we visit we do some kind of activity, normally chosen by pulling one out of a hat. So here we are.

It's a bit muddy and cold, everyone here is wearing boots and jackets. We where all wearing sweet pants or leggings, because we got told we couldn't wear jeans, which kinda sucks. I stepped out of the big black seven seater followed by Alli then Tom. There where fenced of areas either side of the car park, one of which was occupied by a young boy on a fat pony and a female instructor. She was wearing a pink jacket which read 'Dressage State Championships 2011'.

We walked through the main gate, and sat at some picnic tables, as my dad went into the reception. He came out holding a wad of paper, forms we had to fill in, standard stuff, height, weight etc. The stable was on the very top of a hill, surrounded by open fields and wooded areas.

As we sat filling in our forms I looked up and in a field relatively close to where we where two people on horseback riding really fast. They both made it look so graceful, unlike the little boy on the tubby pony. About a minute later they entered the yard, one was a boy and one a girl, both looked my age. The girl, who was in front, jumped of her horse and ran with him to the wall if the building, where there was a metal ring, she slide her reigns through it and ran passed me into the reception. She was in a real hurry. While she was in the reception her horse stood perfectly still, I was totally surprised by this. The boy got of his horse too, jumping to the ground. He lead his horse over to the girls, and held them both.

The girl came out way more relaxed than when she went in. "Did we get in trouble?" the boy asked. "Nope!" she replied with a huge smile on her face. They both laughed in relief.

The woman from behind the desk in reception came out and addressed us, assigning us each a horse. Alli got the boys and I got the girls. Before we got on, we changed in to boots we hired from the riding stable. The horse I was riding was called Eagle, the girl was stood one side of her horse, holding him using the reigns under his chin.
