Saying goodbye

I can't believe that I'm letting him go. After this whole thing started I couldn't control my emissions anymore I had to tell him. I bet your wondering what the fuck is this guy on about. I'm talking about my beloved my Mikey, when he lost his wife because of this war he and Otis came to live with me, Tal and the kids. Tal left me and took the kids with her soon after that. That was when Otis had just turned ten. Now he has to see his father go off to war. To fight someone he once called Uncle.

Yes, Jason he went completely insane and attacked Mike, Anna, Otis and their new born. Unfortunately Mike only got Otis out of the fire he went back in but that was when Jason showed up with a knife and stabbed Mike right in the gut in front of his ten year old son, while Otis could only hear his father, mother and baby sister cries of pain because. Jason had barricaded the bottom of the stairs door so Anna and the new born couldn't get out. Mike could hardly move never mind save his wife and daughter.

I walk down the hall to where an eleven year old Otis is. I knock on the door.

"Come in." I hear the young man say.

"Otis he's leaving are you coming to see him off." I say to the young man.

"Okay uncle Chez." He says as he gets off of his bed.

We walk down the hall to where Mike is. He looks so intense with all of his army gear on its kinda scary how he looks. His hair is no longer spiked it was shaved, his looks buff compared to the last time I saw him which was a year ago when he when to train. He says to me he has to do this so more families don't get hurt by Jason and his followers, it sounds crazy but Mike thinks he is the only one who can stop his brother.

We reach Mike and Otis hugs his father for the first time in a year.

"Dad, why are you leaving again?" Otis asks as Mike picked him up.

"I have to go Otie you'll understand when your older, trust me. Hay don't be sad I'll be back before you know it. I promises." He said as he plants a kiss on Otis's forehead.

I was expecting the guys to be here but they must not care that this could be the last time they will ever get to see Mike.

"Otis I need to speak to your uncle Chez alone for a minute."

"Okay dad." Otis says as he walks down the hall to his little play room I set up for him.

"What's up Mike?" I ask.

"Chez I'm scared I won't come back... I have to finish this no matter what. He took my wife, child, mom and almost got you and the guys. He needs to be stopped at all costs even if it means I won't come back. If I don't you'd look after Otis for me wouldn't you." He says as tears start to spill over in his eyes.

"Don't speak like that your Mike Kenji Shinoda the bravest, most talented man in the world. You can do anything and if it did come to that and I hope it doesn't you know I would look after him for you. Do ya want me to call the guys?" As I ask that question the guys burst through my door.

"Mike! Good we court you. We thought we were too late." Brad says as he hugs Mike. He's known Mike basically his entire life so this is gonna be hard for him, never mind me seeing the love of my life go off to war to fight his own brother.

"Yeah Mike, go kick that jackass's ass he should get what's coming to him from his own brother." Rob says as he also hugs Mike.

"Don't even call him my Brother, I don't class him as that anymore, he's a monster that the world needs to be rid of and I'm the one who's gonna do it. I'm gonna kill Jason." He says with his head held high.

"I wish I was as brave as you Mike." I say as I could feel the tears form in my eyes.

"You are you've been through two divorces, bad childhood, lost your kids and you still came through it all okay... I guess and now your even taking on Otis while I'm gone. Thank you Chez. I love you." He leans forward and kisses my lips. It feels like forever I never want this moment to go away but I know it has to. Just like that he pulls away.

"Mike here I got you something." Phi says, as he pulls something from behind his back.

It was a picture of all the guys, Anna, Ebony (Mikes daughter) and Otis. I see a tear roll down Mikes face.

"Thanks Phi."

"Hay Mikey I have a prezzie for you too." Joe says.

He pulls out a bottle of Mikes favourite drink J&D. He loves Jack Daniels.

"Thanks Joe, I'll save it for when I need it."

I have something to give him too. "Mikey I also have some thing for you."

"And that would be?"

"Well I got you an Ipad so you could skype me when you get there." I say as I hand him the Ipad.

"Thanks, I think I better get going. Otis come here." My Noda-Bare says.

Otis comes running into the room, Mike kneels down to pick Otis up and give him a big goodbye hug.

"You be good for your uncle Chez, okay?" He says holding back the tears.

"I.... I w-will tou-chan I p-promise." Otis says through sobs.

'Sound the bugle now,

Play it just for me,

As the seasons change,

remember how I used to be.'

"Don't cry Otiee I'll be back in no time." He says as the tears start to fall he can't hold them back anymore.

He puts Otis down for the second time. He hugs everyone as says goodbye. Man I hope he will be okay.

Mike's POV

I can't even look back, I would brake down and I don't want to Otis and the guys see me cry. Its time for me to face that monster I call brother.

--2 years later--- (A/N;sorry writers block.)

"Over there John." I say in a whisper, into my worky-torky.

We've made it to Jason's headquarters. I haven't seen Otis or Chez in a year, they took the Ipad off me because it could give away our position. So I haven't seen them I bet they don't even remember me oh well I have to finish this now.

I've met some real cool guys and girls, on this little venture I've been on, some still with us others not so much. John and me have become pretty close we go on nearly every mission together and now its time to end this. Nobody even knows Jason is my brother, I never told anyone and I'm glad I didn't, I know I shouldn't but used Anna's madon name Hillinger its wrong I know that, but its not like I could use Shinoda. Some of them are LP fans because they asked me for an autograph so I couldn't really say no. (A/N; that really is Anna's madon name hehe I'm full of LP facts.)

So me and John are waiting for the go ahead to advance to the next level in the complex. We get it I see two guards and I don't hesitate to shoot before they see us. I fire my gun and hit one in the chest, he falls instantly and I hit the other in the head so he dies instantly. Its not like I like killing people but to save lives you have to kill, I guess. We advance to the next level, this is where Jason should be. As we walk down the halls I look around to see if Jason's office could be anywhere.

"Hay John, over there." I whisper to John.

"That has to be it right? It couldn't be anything else..... Uhhh Mike go now!" John yells at me as he falls to one knee.
