*school bell rings*

It was just a regular monday afternoon, when Jennie got out of her classroom to stretch a bit until the next teacher arrived.

Jennie Claire was an ordinary freshman in ICF high. She had silky, long brown hair, hazelnut colored eyes and pale skin.
Her looks were the only thing that made her know at school. It was her first year in high school anyways, and she wasn't really looking for much attention either.

Her shy personality was also an issue that kept her from being popular and making lots of friends.
She wasn't much of an extrovert. In fact, she was pretty introverted and loved to mind her own business only.

Jennie made her way to the restroom and back. She suddenly felt as if she was being targeted. Looking around, there was no one following her around, but she could still feel she was being stared at, somehow.

Now with faster steps, Jennie rushed back to her seat in class and tried to focus on the subjects until the day was over.
She still felt as if someone were looking at her the entire time, and that freaked her out a bit.

- "Maybe this is just inside my head." Thought Jennie as the algebra teacher, Mr. Castle, wrote equations on the white board.

- "Maybe it's not".
Something spoke to her in her thoughts.

- " Students,"
Mr. Castle spoke interrupting Jennie's inside convo.

- "Here is the first equation you'll be solving today. Is there anyone who's willing to come to the front and teach the class?".
- "Mrs. Girart? Mr. Leyva? Anyone?"

After a few seconds someone stood up and walked to the board.

When solving exercises, the students would go to Mr. Castle and he'd give them "asterisks" for their right answers.
What's an asterisk you ask?
Asterisks were Mr. Castle's unique score points. He would always say things like "if someone gets ~number~ asterisks until the semester is over, that person WILL NOT present the final test" or "These asterisks WILL BE valid in your exam score!". He did take those really seriously for some unknown reason.

After getting her work scored, Jennie went back to her seat and sat still waiting for the next equation. Algebra class was over tho.
The bell rang once again and the teacher made his way out.

- "Lu!"
Jennie automatically recognized the voice coming from behind her.

- "Oh hey Kevin."

- "It's 6:30, just one more class to go."
Kevin said while looking at his watch.

- "Thanks dude"
She answered with a soft smile.

Kevin was one of Jennie's closest friends in ICF high since they already knew each other from middle school. Black hair and dark eyes, the guy was very friendly and funny although he had his shy moments.

Jennie had the habit of always asking him how much time was left till the end of class, and that wasn't much of an issue since Kevin would normally seat near her in most classes anyways.

- "Are you okay?"
Kevin asked noticing something bothered Jennie.

- "Yeah, totally. Pshh. Does it look like I'm not?"

- "I don't know Lu, just asking. You look kind of freaked out or something."

- "I'm always like this!"
She giggled.

- "Whatever then"
Kevin answered slightly annoyed, but still smiling.

- "I just feel weird, it's like I'm being stare.."
The chemistry teacher entered the room not giving Jennie the chance to finish her sentence.

- "Alright class open your notebooks, we're taking notes today... Title is covalent bonds, don't forget to write the date..."
All students sat and proceeded with the last class of the day.

- "Stared at?"
A voice again spoke in her thoughts.

- "Stared at."
She answered to the thought.
