Note: Sadly I don't own any of the characters or hetalia. Please leave reviews on this story or what you would like to see happen. This is rated T for Lovina's swearing by the way but maybe M later on.
Picking up a pair of scissors, Lovina looked at her reflection in the large mirror infront of her. "If I stay I'll just have to marry that bastard prince Ludwig..." She thought. As the eldest princess she was required to marry, but she couldn't do it. She knew her younger sister loved him. She had seen Felicia cry when she found out her older sister was going to marry the man she had loved and had a crush on since she was a child. Lovina sighed, she didn't want to be a princess or a queen anyway, and she didn't want to hurt her sister. Her sister would do a better job than her. She knew this, and decided her and a Matthew- a childhood friend, though now placed as her gaurd, were going to disguise her as a guy and leave. "Lovina are you sure you want to do this, I mean maybe we can just hide in the shadows until it blows over?" She heard him ask quietly as she was handed the scissors. "We already fucking decided that we would be caught quickly if I still looked the same. If I look like a guy you know theres a better chance we won't, damnit." Sighing, Mathew took to cutting her hair.
When he had finished he fished out a pair of his clothes, bandages, and gave them to her. It had taken a while to get the bandages on, but she refused his help. She didn't have a big chest to begin with, but they didn't want anything to go wrong. "Fuck, I really do look like a guy." She mumbled to herself when she was done changing, and walked back out to where Mathew was waiting. "You know you dont have to come right, bastard?" Mathew smiled. She really didn't want to drag her friend into trouble if she didn't need to.
Nodding his head Mathew gave her a smile. "I know, but no one here even notices me besides you. Even I've been teaching you how to act like a guy for a month now. There's no way I'm not going to see how this goes." Lovina smiled a bit at him. He was right actually. It hadn't taken long for her to learn, but that may have been due to them practicing every night. "Too bad you couldn't teach me how to fight." She knew they would be fine though, since she was taught at a young age how to fight with or without a weapon. Mathew was the one who couldn't fight at all, and believed problems could be solved without it, great bodygaurd... And if they needed money Lovina could get a job to support them both, since Her and Matthew only had a small pouch filled with coins. Giving a nod, she walked out onto the balcony and tied a long rope to the railing. If they were going to actually do this they should hurry before someone woke up. I'm sorry Feli, but you'll do a better job with that potato bastard, you always have. "Well then, we'd better be fucking going already."
Matthew hesitated a bit and placed a hand on Lovina's shoulder. "Wait. shouldn't you leave Feli a note or atleast tell her where you're going?" Lovina groaned shaking her head at him, and picking up a torn old bag that she had put clothes, and drawing supplies in. "I already left her a note. But that wont be much use if we dont fucking leave before she wakes up, for crying out loud!" She said scowling, and made her way down the side holding tightly onto the rope. She wanted to get this over with so she wouldn't have time to back out, and stay.
Both of them had actually managed to sneak out past the gaurds, and were now walking down a dimly lit street. Lovina kept looking around them anxious, like a child in a haunted house waiting for something to pop out and scare her. "I swear to god Matthew, if we die here I will be so fucking pissed." She scowled as she heard him chuckle. "No if we die here you will be dead." She glared at his comment holding back from punching him Lovina scowled, muttering a few curse words before they walked into seemingly empty tavern. "God. it smells like something fucking died in here, damnit." Lovina whispered to Matthew who nodded before sitting at a table in the far back corner with her, and placed a map on the table. The tavern didn't have very good lighting, but everything else seemed to be in good shape. "So where should we go now- I honestly didn't think we would make it this far, eh?" Lovina looked down, trying to think of places they could go to ignoring the door to the tavarn opening and loud men made there way in. As long as they don't fucking bother us. "Kesekesekese you two look pretty lonely. Don't worry the awesome me can help with that!" Lovina groaned and slammed her head on the table. Great another fucking german... Lifting her head back off the table she glared at the man who seemed to be ablino dressed up in a long coat, knee high boots, and a hat a long with other things like a sword. Oh a pirate, this is just fan-fucking-tastic. Pirates were known to be ruthless, but she didn't think they could be annoying at the same time. Lovina shook her head shooting daggers at him in the dim light. "Actually, we're fucking fine so you can go fuck with some other bastards over there. You damn pirate." She flipped him off trying to send the message that she wanted him to leave, but of course that only attracted another one. "Ah, mon ami it seems seems like you found a rather feisty one." Oh, fucking fantastic. Now a french bastard is here. She looked up at him, and saw that he had wavy blonde hair, blue eyes, and a stuble growing on his chin. "We're fine, we aren't looking for any company, eh." Matthew said in a whisper and moved closer to me. Wow, what a fucking fantastic body gaurd who blushes at an ablino and hides behind me for protection. Lovina was now pissed off, and sent glares to the German guy, and who she assumed was Gilbert. They came here to stay out of people's sights not to gain the attention of disgusting pirates. "I swear to fucking god if you two don't leave us alone I will punch somebody, and I honestly don't care who." She nearly yelled causing Mathew to shrink back. Clenching her fists, and looking back down at the map Lovina's brows knit together in frustration. "Yea s- he's right if you two could g-"
"Nonsense! That would be un-awesome of me to leave you alone, birdie!" That's it. All of my fucks have just been thrown out of that window. Apparently these guys couldn't take a fucking no for an answer. Standing up, Lovina grabbed the albino by the hem of his shirt and punched him in his face. Shaking her fist has she pulled back she heard the French guy gasp and run over to Gilbert who had fallen on the floor, and was clutching his bleeding nose. "That was so un-awesome! Mein Gott, I was just being awesomely friendly." He growled to his friend as Lovina sat back down, and looked at the map."Great way to stay out of sight, Lovina, eh?" Lovina heard Matthew whisper and she flicked him on the head. It wasn't her fault the albino wouldn't listen to her. "Oi. Gilbert whats going on here?" Lovina muttered curse words as she heard a new voice, probably spanish, speak. Looking up in frustration she blushed as she saw a tanned man with long dark brown curly hair. He had bright green eyes that were clouded with worry for his friend.
"That un-awesome dude right there punched me for no reason, dude." Gilbert whined pointing towards Lovina.
"Actually, mon ami even though I think him punching you was a bit dramatic. He did warn you to leave him and his lover alone."
Lovino stood up with his map in his hands and Matthew followed closely behind with one hand clutching the handle of his sword as Lovina approached the trio. "Ok fuckface, first of all we are not lovers, damnit. Second of all, I could have done a lot worse to that pile of fucking walking snow." The Spaniard looked down at his friend before he began laughing and gave Lovina a lopsided smile which only made Lovina turn red and scowl.
"Ah I see Im sorry for mi amigo he doesn't take hints all that well. We're going to end up loosing another member when we already lost two, huh." Hints? I fucking threatened him, it wasnt a hint! "I don't fucking care. we have to leave anyway, damnit."
Lovina began walking before there was a tug on her sleeve and she was met with Matthew smiling hopefully. "Lovina, maybe they can help us. If we can get on their ship then none of the gaurds will find us." He whispered in Lovina's ear. Damnit, he was right, gaurds don't exactly go looking for princesses on pirate ships. Sighing, Lovina turned around to the three men who were trying to get Gilberts nose to stop bleeding and cleared her throat. "Oi, Spanish bastard. You said you lost two members? How about we fill in their places?" The man stopped handing Gilbert tissues, and smiled widely before walking over extending his hand. "My names Antonio Carriedo, captain of the ship. I would allow you two to join us, but I don't really want any of my other crew members dying, si?" Matthew seemed to panick a bit and for once stepped out infront of Lovina. "Please I'm sorry about what Lovino did. We -well I mean, he wont kill anybody!" Matthew brought Lovina closer by, tugging on his sleeve. "Let 'em join, Toni. The kid couldnt kill the awesome me if he had a gun in his hands!" Lovina glared the the Albino before looking at Antonio. His bright green eyes were wide with uncertainty, but then he nodded. "Ok ok you can join, but you two will have to share a bunk ok?" He said it with a smile, but for some reason he sounded like he hated the idea of them sharing a bunk.
Too bad
Lovina nodded and shook his hand, making him smile even wider until she wiped it on matthews sleeve like she had touched something disgusting. "Glad to have you two, but seriously we should get moving. Toni the sun will be up soon."
"Si... Alright Francis lead them to the ship, and I'll gather
