Elliot was silent since elementary school, mainly from being bullied. Elliot knows everyone, yet, no one knows him. He likes reading and drawing, which generally made him a social outcast. He's larger than the other students, yet not huge. And to add on to all of that, he is gay. Not openly, but his tormentors somehow found out.
Kaden has always been the popular kid. Handsome, good at sports, talks to every other popular kid. He's the "king," in his mind. He's never seen Elliot, despite the fact they went to Elementary, Middle School and High School together. He's tall and well built as well. The main reason why everyone likes him? He plays the drums.
When Kaden first seen Elliot, it was in Algebra II. Elliot was a freshman and Kaden was a junior. They were forced to work together on a packet, which Elliot blew through. Kaden asked him for help three times but got angered because Elliot wouldn't respond. He ditched Elliot and went to another group, which ended up causing his failure that year.
Ever since then Kaden always appeared rude to Elliot. He usually shoved him out of the way to class on accident seeing as how no one sees Elliot. Whenever Kaden would confront Elliot, he usually asked, "why don't you talk?" Kaden sounded rude as well, but that's just one of hus personality traits. Elliot has always, for some reason, thought of him as a bully. But he wasn't.
