I feel as if my heart has turned cold hardened by loss
My sudden vows of caring swept away by terrible days
My Mate died terribly in battle
My clan perished at the paws of my brother
I have survived and choosentoncare not for others
A tiny mew I hear brings me around
I see the bundle of fur laying next to my dead mate
My heart skips a beat and I watch as a star glows bright
I hear whispers of promise of the days to come
My mate she cheers me on from the coldness above
My kit needs me so I must make a vow before the stars sink away into the dawn
I vow as on my honor and life
That I will fite with strife
To protect the helpless
And destroy the wicked
For if I fail my path will be cast to shadow and I will forever walk alone
My heart glows as warmth spreads to me I see the sun rise
This is my New Leaf vow
