In My Words.....a book of poetry

I know you're hurting somewhere deep in side,

it's written on your face, i see it in your eyes.

those scars you bare on your legs and arms, 

tell a greater story for the reason you self-harm.

don't  you know of the beauty you hold,

don't you realize you have a legacy to be told?

inside you die, jusat a little every day,

awake from your slumber, there's so much you have to say.

tell the world you're done with the hurt and pain,

shout from the rooftops, you've so much more to gain.

cry out to those who've hurt you,

you no longer have power over me.

tell them, tell them, today i've broke those chains that bind, today, i've been set free......
