Their chasing me. I can't stay here, they will find me. I need to leave, travel far away. Away from anyone I might hurt. But where can I go, when I don't have anyone in the world to guide me? When you are my kind, life is one repeated thing-run. For them it is another single thing-chase. I can't breathe. Blood fills my mouth, creeps down my throat. I choke as the metallic-tasting liquid crushes my lungs. I see them, the towering figures rising up against the night sky, threatening to quench the moonlight. They take me. I am clinging to life. What is life, if you spend your days running from the inevitable? Pointless. I am lost in thought as they take me. Take me away from life. Pointless, yet valuable, life.
