I wake up to Lillian shaking my shoulders.
She grins when I open my eyes.
"Good morning" she says. I don't really know whether it is actually still morning or not.
"What time is it+" I ask her. She thinks for a minute, and her eyebrows scrunch up. Lillian walks into the hall, where there is a clock, and then back to me.
"11:27"
Gratefully, I nod.
I was worried before that I'd slept past noon.
I didn't want to wreck my last day here by sleeping through it.
Lillian gestures for me to come with her and I do.
I follow her down the hall, upstairs, and into her room.
She sits down on her bed, and I sit next to her.

"I got you something," she announces. I smile at her.

"Oh really?"

"Yes, now close your eyes." She orders me. I close them.

"No peeking!" She tells me "Put your hand out."

I place my hand in front of myself and feel something cool, tiny, and rough touch my hand.

"You can open them now," she says.

I open my eyes to find a small black rock sitting on my palm.

"So beautiful!" I say. Lillian grins proudly. "I love it Lili!"

I hug her tightly, taking advantage of the moment. This would be one of my last moments with my little sister.

"I got it from the street." She says.

"It's the greatest present I've ever received." I declare.

Lillian's smile is so wide, I think her jaw might break.
She proudly walks out of her room.
I look around the place.
Her toys are out of the bin, and there are some stuffed animals on the ground also.
One animal in particular comes to my attention.
Fluffy, her bear that she's had since she was a newborn.
The fur is still soft, but worn, and there are a few tears here and there.
Fluffy is the one stuffed animal that Lillian never noticed or took care of.
I needed something to remember her by, other than the rock.
I pick the stuffed bear off of the ground and take it to my bedroom. I will never let go of my sweet little Lillian.

Sam looks at me with a smirk.
We had decided earlier to go visit the Recreational Building for a game of foosball.
The Society just put this game in the Rec Building.
They say that people used to play it thousands of years ago.
I'm winning against him.
I guess I have an advantage over him since I used to play this game during Recreation hours all the time.
Sam is 13.
He's getting matched when he's 19.
I hope he gets the girl he deserves.
Sam was born with the sweetest heart.
The moment he laid eye's on my parents he smiled, and ever since the day he entered this world he's been the kindest person I know.
But he's not kind when it comes to competition.
Of course he won't cheat, but he'll try his hardest to win.
I turn the handle as the miniature ball comes toward my players. I shoot, and score.
Sam sighs.

"You won again!" He says. "I'll never be as good as you."

I smile.

"You won't with that attitude! Just keep practicing!"

The noise of laughter and conversation fills the room.
Sam smiles back at me.

"I'll try."

"Good, now we've better get home, evening meal will arrive shortly."

"Alright, let's go."

We head out of the building. We walk toward the train station.

"Will you remember us?" He says suddenly. I'm shocked by the question.
