Alright, so I really love this book, because it's not like any other ones I've seen. Let's just say it's not 'cliché.' I really don't know how to explain it. In this book, there's a girl named Clove. She's different than everybody else. I see this in a lot of books, but this one is more... 'Original.'
Now why I love this book. I can relate to it. During the beginning of the year, I was literally lost. I had come to school on the fourth day of school, I was at a new school, and I missed picture day; meaning that the school used my previous year's picture on my school ID.
All the girls at my school, looked like they were supposed to be in a fashion show. Everyday. On my first day, I stepped on the bus and my old friends were putting makeup on, and they looked totally different than what I had seen before the summer vacation.
Then, I started feeling self conscious. I called myself ugly and fat. I didn't even want to go swimming, because compared to everyone else, I looked like a potato. Like how Clove thinks her name is weird. I do too, however I won't be giving it out. Yet.

I know my entry is very short and personal, but I hope I win! Thanks for reading.
