As I read my dads letter to myself I started questioning why I accepted to drive to Arizona in the first place.

To: Iris

I am very exited to spend the summer with you up here in Arizona, I just wanted to tell you the details before you get here.

I will be working Monday to Thursday, but I'll spend time with you during those three days I'm off. While I'm at work my wife Gina will be taking care of you, not that you need her but I just wanted to reassure that you will be okay. If you will not be needing her she will be out at a neighbours or shopping for all your needs. I am very eager to see you and can't wait for you to come down this weekend.

Have a wonderful three days before you come here and remember to pack EVERYTHING you need.

From: Dad

"I feel slightly bothered by this letter, Stiles." I said to my best friend while he was working on his laptop from across my room.

"Hmm?" He responded quite confused.

"I said I feel bothered by this letter." I stated.

"How so?" Stiles asked.

"He wanted to see me but he will be working the majority of the time." I told him.

"Use on of your wolfy powers on him and maybe he'll spend time with you." Stiles said sarcastically.

"No, I mean he asked me to go to spend time with him and he won't be there, I don't care at all but it makes no sense." I said.

"Well you should be glad I'm coming with." Stiles reminded me.

I walked out of my room and walked to the bathroom, I haven't even gotten ready yet. I quickly curled my long purple-dyed hair and applied some makeup within 20 minutes. Then before reaching my room I grabbed some of my clothes out of the dryer, I changed when I got to my room. Stiles was never bothered by it, we had a code word, grapes, that's when we know each other are changing.

"We have to go to my house to pack my clothes and such." Stiles told me.

"Okay but we can leave the jeep here, we'll just take my hummer. " I told an upset Stiles. He never liked leaving the jeep.

When we got to Stiles' room we grabbed all the clothes we could find and packed them in.

"Wait I have one more bag for all the other stuff I need but I packed that already so we just have to take it to the Hummer." Stiles said.

"I think you forgot something." I told Stiles while gesturing to the condoms on his nightstand.

"Sure, like I need that, I've never needed that!" Stiles pouted.

"Well maybe you will, I'll stuff them in my pocket". I said hopeful for Stiles' love life.

We arrived home to see my mother scurrying out the door with my suitcases.

She rushed to my car door and said, "Your dad has a little change of plans, he wants you to leave today because of him leaving in 4 days. He has work in Alaska but you can still stay there for the summer, just too see what's in Arizona. Oh, and Stiles is that okay for you?"

Stiles look confused by everything she had said but just returned a "Yes." In response.

So we were off, 9 hours of driving if we're lucky, this is actually going to be hella fun.
