"A-apollonia!" Artemis stuttered.
"Diana. I have missed you." Apollonia whispered quietly. Artemis looked into her sister's eyes and suddenly she remembered the brightness of the sun on her back. She remembered a lamb, a lamb white as snow, playing with her in a field.
The field.
The lamb.
Agnus.
Agnus Dei-- heavenly lamb.
The sound of bells, the sound of a choir singing... Artemis remembered her happiness as an innocent child.
"My sister. Trust me and I will be with you forever. I too will be hunted by the vixens."
