Will I Get Out Of The Struggle

As I started walking down the bad streets of Chicago I seen a woman in her late 30's it looked like dropping off her son , as I walked passed her White Apollo I started down about 1/2 a block when someone started beeping the horn.

I looked back and it was the same woman"Hello Sweetheart are you okay".

"Im Fine"

"You sure you don't look like it"she said curious.

"It's a long story"

"Well do want to get in and talk about it , and your about to pop with a little one" She smiled.

"I been doing it for almost a year now I'm fine"

"Please get in I don't want anything to happen to you it's bad out here in these streets.

"Uh , sure" I got in the front seat.

"Would like Mc Donald's ?"

"No money"

"Please girl I got you" she said pulling up to McDonald's.

"lets go inside so we can talk"

"Ok , thanks agin really Ms ?"

"Kiera I'm single Huns"She said as we got out.

"Thanks Ms.Kiera"

"Girl call me Kiera"We made our way in and went to the cashier"

"Welcome to Mc.Donald's how may I help you" A guy said he was about 21.

I got so many stares I guess how filthy I look and I'm Prego with clothes that don't fit.

"Would do want ?"

"Mc Chicken and Pepsi"

She ordered her something while sat in a 2 seater table , about 2 minutes later she arrived with our food.

"Thanks so much"

"It's ok you don't have to keep thanking me"

I nodded and grabbed my food I instantly started stuffing my sandwich in my mouth to provide for me and my unborn.

After I was done I pulled out my android I forgot I didn't do my summer work today.

She laughed ,"What Is it ?" I asked curious.

"Girl you need a iPhone" she said continuing to laugh.

"No money"I said dryly , she stopped laughing then.

"Sorry, ready to go?"

"Yes"

We jumped back in her car and rode till we pulled up to this big place with all these different type of stores. I was amazed I never seen nothing like this .

"Is...Th...is..the..m..a..l.....l"I stuttered in amazement.

"Yeah"

I got out so did she and we made our way into the mall , once we arrived in she gave me a Visa card.

"What's this for"

"Go shop it's $650 on there  I'll be over here at the food court"

"Wow! Thanks"

"Girl go ahead and go to Verizon and get you a phone"

"Ok thanks again"

It was about 7:30 once we left I got me a iPhone 6s the plus was to big so I didn't get it , it was the best day ever I was like a little kid who stole $100 but I had more.

"Would you like to stays with me for awhile till you get on your feet"

"That's up to you"

"Girl yes"

"Ok then"

"I have to get my son King he's 17 and my daughter Armani but we call her mani she is 16 there cool and  there a hand full" we both laughed.

She pulled up to a nice small White House , she beep the horn and the black door opened a boy about 5'8 ,lightskin came to the door hugging a girl about 5'3 he kissed her then came to the car he jumped to the back seat once he saw me in the front.

He opened the door and she pulled off.

Hey ma , who this ?"he asked curious.

"This is Mariah she will be staying with us for a while"

"Wassup"

"Hi"

His eyes got big once he saw I was pregnant.

" 8 months"

"Oh ok"

We rode down this street and saw a group of boys and girls Kiera rolled down her window.

"Come on Mani"

"Ight y'all" she hugged a girl and 2 boys and she jumped in the car.

She pulled off.

"Hey mama ,who this?"

"This is Mariah she is 15 she will be staying with us for awhile"

"Oh wassup I'm Armani"

"Hello"

Once arrived to a 2 story nice brick house with a 2 garage.

She parked in one of garages the other one had a jeep in it we all got out and I grabbed my bags we walked inside the house.

"Mariah there's a empty room upstairs with a bed and other things have fun, Armani will show you around"
