Everyone sat at different areas around the table, wilma was silent and slightly disturbed she couldn't get her hair right, she said "you just don't understand what black hair is like" to ritchie who shook his head and laughed "I guess I don't".
Galicia chimed a glass and everyone turned to her. Being hungry and waiting patient for an hour no one was ready for a speech, but it was gonna happen. Across the table sam sat directly across from wilma and rolled his eyes receiving a laugh from her. She stood graceful, The women of the house next to her Sam's father who just liked to watch her speak, he caught sam's eye roll and point a stern finger at him. "I have an announcement to make, I know I don't speak as profoundly as Raphael but you will listen". It seemed serious so a little tension was eminent. "You are our family, and we must make others understand our alliance as a family, to some this might make no sense to ' she gestured to sam youngest brother playing with toys' but we have to come together in a deeper way" Ritchie interrupted "like marriage" Galicia looked at ritchie in anger said something in Italian then said " thank you sweetie but I was going to make my point myself" But he was right marriage was were she was headed. Wilma fearfully looked over to her mom who just pointed her back into Galicia attention " we thought it would be good to show people how much of a family we are, and in that Sam and wilma will wedd" for a long time sam. After that everyone had a word in what was going to happen "I don't think this is fair" wilma said Raphael turned to her "why" "Because we're still young she said 'shouldn't sam at least be able to figure out who he wants, or let us be with other people" Raphael was still looking and listening to what she was say though he caught and important peice " so that's what you want for sam what about you? Does that mean you've already chose" wilma and sam are only 15, likely she had no response to this. "it's me" everyone was surprised, he blushed and stood up out of his chair and said " I will if you will"
