After Mr. Kenny answered Victoria's question we started going around introducing ourselves. And my luck just sat me next to Victoria's biggest wannabe slut, Alissa.
"I'm Victoria, eighteen and I love forbidden love. Romeo and Juliet, a classic example," she said seductively, playing with her hair. Wow, I never even knew that whore read. I know she's trying to get the attention as I noticed Mr. Kenny shuffle in his seat, uncomfortably. I could see the disgust in his eyes.
"I'm Alissa..."
Oh, shit! I'm next.
"...and I'm a seventeen year old that is in love musical.ly."
"Interesting." Mr. Kenny turned to me with a warm smile on his face. "What an impression you've left on me, Ms Mills. And I mean a bad one. Care to redeem yourself?" he said smirking.
"No." Mr. Kenny stared at me in confusion. "I'll say things about me but I'm not interesting so it won't help."
"Well, you're right on that!" Josh snorted and nobody laughed.
"I'm sure you are."
"Allison Smith. Seventeen. Hobbies? Glaring at the clock to change to 3:30 so one can be dismissed from school," I said plainly, with no expression on my face and thankfully the bell rang. Everybody got up from their seats and walked out of the class. I looked back at Sir and saw him looking back at me. He was smiling like we'd been friends forever. But in those eyes I saw need. Confusion. Like he wanted to get to know me. I was like a puzzle to him.
No. Don't be silly. He's a teacher. They don't care.
I looked away and walked to my next class but stopped in front of the door.
No, Ally. Don't! Don't skip school!
I dropped my bag and ran to the exit doors ignoring my common sense.
