This was her life now. Always popular, always the one who comes back with gripping stories to tell and new people to introduce. But now this time, this summer she, Evelyn Cusack had nothing. Nothing at all. It wasn't like her, and her friends knew it.
Maddie had come back with a new dog to add to her other 2, Megan had come back with yet another new boyfriend but this time he was different, he didn't snuggle up to her as much or hold her hand like the others did, however he seemed to love her just as much. Nicole had come back with new stories of how she and her dad had discovered many more wonderful places that seemed unreal yet she had just enough proof to prove it. Evelyn was the only one with nothing, absolutely nothing, and when it was her time to tell, she had no idea what to say.
" so Evelyn" asked Megan "any new boyfriends to shows us?" "Or pets" added Maddie " or stories" said Nicole with a wink.
" I heard you went to Sweden" said Megan
" yeah I overheard Ali whos brothers friends cousin is your brothers friend say you were on a ski trip with your new boyfriend" exclaimed Maddie.
They sat there in silence staring at her waiting to know if all of it was true.
" well......" She thought of something quick but nothing came, then suddenly she had an idea!
