(G/F/N) - Guy Friend's Name

(Y/N) POV

I was sitting next to Chase, typing a message to my friend (G/F/N). I could feel Chase watching my screen, but brushed it off.

<Hey, Lora wants me to bring something for you.>  I read his text, smiling as I replied.

<Okay, how long till you get here?>

<About 10 minutes, tops.> he sent back.

<See you soon.> I sent, putting my phone in my pocket and leaning on Chase's shoulder. Normally, he'd put his head on top of mine, but he didn't move, which worried me. I lifted my head and looked up at him.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked, staring at him, waiting for a response. He stayed silent and didn't even look at me. I waited a few more seconds before speaking again.

"Chase?" I said, beginning to get worried. I felt hurt at the fact he was ignoring me.

"Chase, I-"

"(Y/N), (G/F/N) is here!" I heard Stevie yell from the main room. I looked at Chase one last time before getting up and leaving the room.

"Hey (G/F/N)" I said, pretending nothing happened. I was still hurt, but I didn't want (G/F/N) to tease me. Again.

"Hey. You wanna come to McDonalds with me? Your gift for 'you-know-who' is in the car," he said, a smirk on his face.

"I, uh, sure," I said, grabbing my purse. I walked towards the door, (G/F/N) and I walking out and to his car.

Chase POV

I was a little jealous of (G/F/N), not that I was going to admit that to anyone. I continued my work, until I got a text from Stevie.

<Hey, could you run to the McDonalds a few streets over and get me a McFlurry?>  I sighed, standing up and grabbing my car keys.

When I got to McDonalds, I saw (G/F/N) and (Y/N), her back turned to me. (G/F/N) met my gaze and secretly motioned for me to come over. I walked up behind (Y/N) and listened to their conversation.

"Hey (Y/N), why do you like Chase so much?" (G/F/N) asked her, making me really curious.

"What is there not to like about him? He's sweet, he's funny, he's cute, and he actually cares about me in ways that most people don't. Obviously I'd have a crush on him. But I doubt he feels the same way," she answered, causing me to smile. For the longest time, I'd been hoping that (Y/N) liked me back.

"Why don't you ask him," (G/F/N) said, pointing at me. (Y/N) slowly turned around, and when she saw me, the surprise was written all over her face.

"Well," I started, "I can say that I'm happy to hear that you feel the same way I do." She continued to look at me in shock, and I bent down to her level.

"But, I will say," I said, leaning closer to her face, "I don't think I can wait any longer to call you mine," I finished, closing the space and kissing her. After a few seconds, she started kissing back.

Finally, we pulled away, and I sat down beside her, her leaning her head on my chest. Both of us were panting, trying to catch our breath, and (G/F/N) laughed.

"I can't wait till your wedding day," he said, making me blush. I could only imagine how red (Y/N)'s face was.
