Without You

Chapter 1

I woke up to my blaring alarm clock.
"Shut up" I groaned as I was hitting it.
As you can see I'm not a morning person. Finally it stopped beeping when my brother walked in the room.
"You can't knock?" I asked.
"Oh no I can but I choose not to." He smirked.
"What do you want?" I asked rolling my eyes.
"Mom told me to get you up."he replied.
"I'm up, now get out!" I yelled.
"Ok ok, oh and you might wanna look in the mirror." He said as he walked to his room.
I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and my face was covered in drool!
"Gross." I said
I washed my face first thing. Then I shaved my legs and hopped in the shower. It took me about 10 minutes to do both which is a new record!!! I blow dried my hair and curled it. Then put on a pair of distressed Hollister jeans, a plain white t-shirt, and my brand new white converse. I grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs.

My mom was making eggs and bacon for breakfast. My brother was still getting ready for school, and my dad was already at work. He has to leave early in the morning because his work is an hour away from where we live.

"Hey sweetie how'd yah sleep?" My mom asked as she was giving me a plate of food.

"Thank you, and good." I replied.

I sat down at the table and started to eat.
"Hey mom." My brother said to her kissing her cheek.
"Hi honey." She said
We all sat at the table eating our breakfast.
I finished, put my plate in the dishwasher and went upstairs to brush my teeth. I don't know about you but whenever I'm brushing my teeth I always make funny faces in the mirror, lol.

I put on a light amount of makeup just foundation and mascara. I grabbed my blue sports bra, a pair of black nike shorts, a blue tank top, and my deodorant for gym class. Then walked back downstairs and made sure I had everything I needed for school.

We had 5 more minutes until we had to leave for school so I relaxed on the couch and played on my phone.

"Ok guys time to go." My mom yelled
I got up grabbed my Blue backpack and ran to the car.
"I call shotgun!" I yelled
My brother had to sit in the back, I chuckled.
I could not breath because my brother had put on WAY to much cologne.

"How much do you need?" I asked while coughing.
"It's not that much. He said
"I can't breath!" I yelled
" Well would you rather have me smell like garbage?" He yelled back.
"Enough!" My mom screamed
I rolled my eyes and started texting my best friend Lily.

Me: hey I'm on my way to school

Lily👭: ok cool, I'm riding my skateboard💟

Me: ok lol see yah soon💟

Lily👭: ok bye

My mom pulled in the school parking lot. I saw Alex! I looked in the side mirror making sure I looked ok.
"Bye guys love you." My mom said
"Bye mom love you too. I replied as I was getting out of the car.
I put my phone in my back pocket and walked over to Alex.
"Hey" I said looking into his green eyes.
"Hi , you look nice." He exclaimed.
"Thanks you too." I blushed.
"Hi Bailey" I heard someone say from behind me.
I turned around to see my other best friend Ryan.I hadn't seen him in a couple weeks.
He walked over and hugged me.

"Hey nice to see you again." I said
"I haven't seen you in forever." He replied .
He released his strong grip and said hi to Alex then winked at me. He already knew I like Alex. I smiled at him.

"Hey!" Lily said while walking up to me.
"Hi!" I replied.
"Well I'm going to put my stuff in my locker, I will see you later Alex." I said
"See yah." He answered.
Lily and Ryan walked to my locker with me.

" I still can't believe he hasn't asked you out yet." Lily exclaimed
"It takes time" I said
" Yeah but it's been two years I think that's enough time." Ryan said with a laugh.
"Maybe he just doesn't like me?" I said in a sad voice.
"Of course he likes you do you not notice the way he looks at you!" Lily said trying to cheer me up.
"I don't know, but I will see you guys later." I said walking to my first class.
"Ok bye" they both said.
When I reached my first class I sat down and played on my phone for a little until Mr. King walked in and started teaching.
