Chapter One- A Joyful Past
Rebecca's POV

I awoke to my blaring alarm clock, indicating it was time for school. I looked over at my digital alarm clock, seeing it read exactly 9 o'clock. I have to walk to school today, seeing that I missed the bus... I was told to be friendly with the new boy today. I was also told that he was from Ireland. I love guys from Ireland. They're cute smile and their cute accent. They are the best kind of guys.

I was a block away from school I before I bumped into a kid, he made me drop my books. I looked up to see he had green hair. He quickly apologized. "Sorry, I'm Jack, what's your name.'' I looked at him and spoke up. "R-Rebecca... it's okay no-one ever sees me. Hey are you the new boy?" Jack smiled. "Yeah do you know the way to the school? And do you want to be my friend? I left all of them in Ireland."

My eyes opened widely and I gasped seeing Jack crying. I finally responded. "Okay sure but I've never had a friend before." Jack stopped crying as he jumped up and down really fast. 'I'd love to be friends with someone!' I thought to myself for a second. "Okay come over and hangout some time." I handed him a piece of paper that read "34 Main Street and call this number (555)123-4567." (Not a real phone number kiddos). So he did and on the phone he said that people called him green not Jack. That made him mad, later he came over and we talked and talked all night.

The Next day

I woke up and thought about jack. Why is he always in my head? I can't think. Am I in love with him? No I don't know him that well. But is he in love with me too? I need to get ready for school. So now I am at school and Jack is sitting next to me. I am in love with Jack. I need to tell him. At gym I will tell him. Tell him my secret. I'm moving to L.A.
