(Joey's POV)
"GET OUT AND DON'T EVER COME BACK YA HEAR ME!!!!!!!!!" dad said as I left out the front door and saw Zoe riding her bike up to my house looking confused with all the chaos.
"I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL!!" I yelled back.
I immediately regretted saying those words.
"RUN JOEY!!". I ran like hell as Zoe grabbed me by the hand running god knows where. Good thing my dad wasn't that fit like 10 years ago.
We got to the park and sat down on the swings breathless.
"What in the world happened back there??" Zoe said trying to catch her breath and set her bike down.
"I came out,"

"I hereby pronounce you, Elaine and Zach Lee, legal guardians of Joey Montgomery Lake," the judge yells aloud as me and Zoe break into our happy dance and hug each other really tight. When I let go, there was a loud commotion and shuffle all over the room. I turned around and was pulled harshly into my dad's face by his hands on my jacket.
"I hope you're happy because I sure as hell am," dad whispered to me but I'm pretty sure some people around heard. He was then pulled away by the guards and took him away to prison and my mom helplessly crying into her hands sitting across from me and my new family. I felt bad for the woman but she hated me and wasn't crying because I was taken away from her but was crying because my dad was being taken away from her. I can tell that she was gonna have trouble without him around but it was not my fault for my dad going to prison. It was all on dad. I came out how I was made. Dad should've thought about his future before coming over to Zoe's and beating me while making me yell in pain as Zoe tried her best to pull him off of me but how could I get help from such a small person but with a BIG ASS personality. Soon her dad came out of his office after hearing the commotion and ran into my dad pushing him to the wall, punching him out of the house, locking the door, and calling the police. Zoe and I ran upstairs and hearing a window break from the front door and dad unlocking the door coming inside running after me until Zach pushed him to the kitchen and started fighting as I was left on the stairs in pain and Zoe running out the door yelling for help from the neighbors.

"Hey, are you ready to leave... son?" Zach said as he was squeezing my shoulder.
"Yeah...dad," I said back.
"Alright let's get outta here,"
"Let's get ice cream too," Zoe jumped out of her seat running to the exit.
"Yeah let's do that, c'mon," Elaine said with a beautiful smile you could never be bored of.

"So are you ready for your new school to begin?" Zoe questioned me eating her ice cream.
"Yeah, I guess, umm what is it like? Like is there tons of bullies, is it a nice school, is it fun or boring?" I asked her.
"Well, you'll just have to see. No, I'm just kidding, there aren't bullies but I'm pretty sure you could be a victim because you will probably make all the girls there fall in love with you. Even the ones in a relationship which will mean boys coming after you. Oh and there are like hot guys and like 4 hot teachers like the girls fall for these fake ho's and I'm like 'You girls need water',"
"Wow, thanks for the encouragement," I joked.
"No prob, Bob,''
I look at her with confusion as she chuckles and instantly jumps up and down.
"OMG you have to meet my friends like they are so amazing like you will love them and they are not that bad, well except for Kieth, but he has a good side to complete him. But I'll show you them tomorrow," Zoe explained.
We were on our way to my original house to pick up the rest of my stuff to fully move in with my new family.
As soon as we got there, I got out of the car and Zoe and Zach followed me inside while Elaine stood in the car talking to her sister on the phone about me. We reached the front door and I knocked. No answer. I knocked again. Still, no answer. I reached the plant next to the door, got the fake rock, got the key out of it, and unlocked the door. As I stepped inside, everything was clean and the house looked lively. I was actually surprised that everything was normal and was proved wrong because I sure as hell thought that my mom would be a mess with dad gone, although he did just leave a few hours ago to jail so I could still be right. I yelled out and heard no response so she must've been talking to my dad or something. I ran up the stairs and signaled Zach and Zoe to come with me. They proceeded and followed me until I reached my room and went inside to find all my stuff packed up in boxes ready for me to move out. I never packed my stuff up so my mom and dad did this. I hate them. There were 7 boxes so Zoe and I carried two and came up for one more while Zach carried three and was in the car by the time Zoe and I came out with our last one.
"Cheater," Zoe and I yelled so he could hear us over mom talking on the phone.
"I still helped," he yelled back. Zach works for a compony that he owns but I don't recall the name and he is an amazing husband and father because he works a lot and is busy but every day he comes home tired but still has enthusiasm and makes time for his wife and daughter and that is a real father you have to love. He also decided to get his monthly break early just to fight for me.
We put my boxes in the back of the car and went back to the door to lock it and left a note on the door saying that I picked up my boxes and that I still love her, just not that much anymore. I got back in the car and we drove to my official home which took at least 30 minutes from my house to theirs. It was an amazing house with glass windows, has three stories, many rooms, and a lake that was not too big and not too small.
As I got out of the car I went to open the back of the car but was stopped by Elaine.
"Don't worry about those, we will have dinner first and then Zach can help you with those boxes,"
"OK," I said walking towards the house. As they unlocked the door we went inside and all of a sudden,"WELCOME HOME!!!"
