Chapter 5

IYear Later*

Laura's POV

I'm in the hair salon getting my hair dyed red. I hope Lou likes it. It has been a year since Louis and I have been together and I am so happy!! Louis is the best guy EVER!!!! I love him so much.

My hair was done getting dyed and went to go look at it. WOW!! I think Lou<3 will like it. I actually think I look better then before.

I was on my way home and my phone started to go off. I was looking for it, but still trying to keep my eye on the road. I looked down just for a second to look for it and finally found it. I answered the call, but as soon as I answered the call, everything went in slow motion. I saw a bright light coming, I heard someone screaming in the phone, I dropped my phone, I went flying forward. Then everything else was just a blur. I blacked out.

~Louis's POV~

I called Laura to see where she was at. She was taking forever to answer and I was kind of getting worried. Then she finally answered and I said "Hey love", then I heard a scream. I heard something crash. I started screaming into the phone telling Laura to answer me.

Then the line just went dead. I started freaking out.

I went home to get Hunter, Lilly, and Christian. But they weren't there. I started freaking out even more. I went to the police station and I went to talk to them. I heard one of the police officers on the phone talking and they were talking about this girl getting into a car crash. I heard them say a name, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. I heard the name again and heard it clearly and they  said the name was Laura.

I went up to the police officer and asked him what the girls name was in the car crash. He said her name was Laura and I asked where the car crash happened and they said it was only like half hour away from where I was and gave me directions on where to go. I went over there and ran out the car to see her. I saw them pull a girl out the car all bloody and her hair was red. So I didn't think it was Laura because Laura did not have red hair.

I just stayed there though, looking at the girl. She had the same car as Laura, but it couldn't of been her. But I was there, just staring. Frozen in my spot.

*2 Hours Later*

I'm at home, sitting on the couch. Waiting for Laura to just walk in the door. Then I heard my phone ring.

-Phone Call-

Me: "Hello?"

Person: "Hello? Is this Louis?"

Me: "Yes this is Louis. Who is this?"

Person: "Hello Louis. My name is Courtney. Are you a friend of Laura's?"

Me: "Yes. Well, I am her boyfriend actually. May I ask why you're calling?"

Courtney: "Well Louis, your girlfriend is in the hospital right now."

And that's when I froze. I couldn't say anything.

Courtney: "Hello? Louis? Hello? Are you there Louis? Okay, well I know you are, but Louis. Laura was in a car crash and she is in the hospital right now. I thought I should call and let you know. I'm very sorry Louis. I hope you could come down to the hospital. I bet she would love a visit from you and I would like to talk to you face to face about something. Okay? Alright. Come on down anytime. Have a nice day. Good bye"

Then the line went dead.

*End of phone call*

I just stood there and my phone dropped. Then I fell to the ground.
