Unique part 8

~~ Teesha's POV ~~

I turns out that Jesse was there the next day, and all the following days afterwards.

It's now been a week and a half since the festival. Jesse's still acting different but we talk and stuff, but it's kinda like he's keeping something from me.

But my main problem is Jake. I swear he's is going through a major growing phase. I mean he's coming to school with scratches all over his face, but that not the worst part; he is way taller and, how do I put this, extremely muscular. It's freaking me out. He's always angry too, avoiding me like as much as he can. I feel like I'm the problem here, I don't know what to do.

"Tee? Teesh? TEESHA!" My best friend broke me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah?..." I replied lazily.

"Oh, I just wanted to know if you were sill alive. You haven't spoken for 5 minutes. That's ages for you!" She sounded worried but sarcastic at the same time.

"I was just lost in space I guess." It's all I could say to her.

It's lunch break and the two of us are sitting at a table for six, plenty of space... I've kinda been blanking out all day and I pretty much just want the week to be over. Jake and Jesse have just made everything stressful.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a male figure sit down opposite me. I felt my heart jump, expecting to see Jesse finally showing himself. But it wasn't him.

"Hey, girls." Jacob smiled awkwardly, obviously knowing I wanted someone else here other than him.

Neither me nor Sarah replied. We all just stared at each other for what seemed like ages. Jacob cleared the silence.

"I- I don't feel like we should hang out with Jesse anymore." He just blurted it out as if it meant nothing. But it was like he didn't want to say it either way.

"WHAT!? He's like our best friend, Jake!" I yelled at him so loudly that the whole lunch room fell silent for a few seconds.

"Yeah, what the hell? Give us one reason why we shouldnt?" Sarah questioned jake with the same amount of anger in her voice.

Jake didn't say anything, he just shrugged. "It's safer."

And with that he got up and strolled away. As if those two words would save our lives.

~~Jacob's POV~~

I have so much explaining to do. I just don't know where to start.

When Teesha and I first met, I was on my own. I didn't have a boss, and no one had planned to win her over. It was just me and her.

That was before Justin came into my life. Everything's changed now, and I mean everything!

I met him a month ago April 3. My birthday. Coincidence? Not in the slightest. I turned sixteen, Justin was already at that age and he showed me how different we are going to be now.

This wont make sense. I mean I don't totally understand this now but what I do know, is that things are not normal in this town. That is one guarantee.

Jesse likes Teesha, a lot. He told me he loved her. Well that has just made things more complecated. Jesse is my friend and I don't hate him, he just needs to stay out of this. As I said before; 'it's safer' I swear.

Justin is my leader now and even though he controls me, I know whats right. He wants to get rid of Jesse for good, if you know what I mean. But I'm just putting him out of the equation, so no one gets hurt.

I like Teesh, more than you could ever imagine, but I have to do what Justin says. He wont hurt her, he just needs her. At the end of the week is when he first meets her. I have to be the one to set that up. I will do that but I just feel like it shouldn't be happening. My feelings for her are off the scale but I need to keep them in.

Its Wednesday period 4. A day and a half after I just walked off on my friends. Kill me. I have to apologize to the, (especially Teesha) before Friday. I think I have a good idea about it. It needs to be perfect though.

At lunch I went to her locker. Seeing her standing there with Sarah and... Jesse.

For now, I'm just going to ignore his presence and talk to the girls.

"Hey Tee, can i talk to you for a sec?" I asked her while looking in her eyes as if no one else is there.

"Yeah, what is it?" She stood there crossing her arms and giving me a half glare.

"No, I mean, in private?" I asked her while pointing down the hall to an empty class room.

"Why would I go with you, Its not 'safe'." She hissed, ugh why does she have go be so difficult?

"Please!" I pleaded "I need to talk to you"

"Why don't you just tell me here then?.." She growled.

"I can't, just come with me please?"

"Fine!" I finally got her to agree with me.

We walked off down the hall, Teesha, slightly lacking behind me with her arms still crossed. Once we got to the the deserted classroom, I stopped, waiting for her to catch up with me. When she did I opened the door for her and followed her inside.

I didn't know if i should stop it there or not but here we go.
