Different (Google X reader)

Breakefast from a robot

Y/n P.O.V:

My eyes fluttered open. It took a while for my eyes to adjust to the bright annoying sun. I looked over and saw Jade still asleep. I smiled a little. Then I remembered about Google. I got up and walked to my room where Google was. He was still the same has yesterday he just laid there. I sighed a little before walking up to him. I pushed him gently to see if he'd wake up. He groaned a little and pushed my hands down as he turned to his side.

"Boy for a robot you sure do act like a human..." I said sighing a bit to myself. I looked at my clock, 7:21 it read. I went to my bathroom and splashed some cold water on my face. I looked up and lifted my shirt to look at my scars. I sighed and fought back any remaining tears. I walked out of the bathroom and opened the window. I let the sun hit my face and wind breeze through my hair hitting my face lightly. Today was a great day to go for a walk. I got my out a t-shirt and short jeans pants. I put my h/c hair in a high pony tail and headed out. Before I left I saw Jade awake making herself some coffee.

"Oh hey." I said sitting at one of the chairs. She waves her hand sleepily. "I'm going on a walk, I'll be back soon alright?" I said getting up. Jade rushed over to the door. "The hell do you think you're doing?! Must I remind you for the 100th time, YOU ARE INJURED! It's the doctors orders to have you stay until you heal!" She protested blocking the door. I put my hand on her shoulder. "Look I know you're being a good friend and all but it's such a nice day! Im not wasting this opportunity! Plus who brought an irl in her apartment yesterday ALL by herself must I remind you?" I said folding my arms. She rolled her eyes and stepped out of the way. "If you get hurt I told you so!" She said as she headed towards the kitchen. I laughed and left.

I was almost done with my walk when something caught my attention. It was a tv, and the news was playing. What caught my attention was it was me on there. It was from last night! When I saved Google. The news lady started speaking.

"Yesterday a woman in her mid twenties saved a robot from a deadly situation. No one knows why she out her life in danger for a machine, but she is considered a robot hero. More details will be revealed after the break." Soon commercials started playing. When I turned around I caught people staring at me. My heart rate picked up as I started panicking. Without thinking I started sprinting to my apartment. It hurt a lot but I didn't care, I just needed to hide.

I burst open the door and a Yelp escaped from Jade. She was on the couch with the news on. I was so out of breath and in pain I couldn't form words.

"Looks like you're a robot hero y/n. Is that where you got Google?" She asked. "Yeah..." I managed to say. "I bet Google appreciates it even though he's still sleeping." She said turning off the tv. "I'll make some breakfast alright? You go take a shower ya smelly!" I said pinching her nose giggling. I blushed embarrassed.

Google P.O.V:

Y/n's friend, or Jade, as she called her was right. When y/n left for her walk Jade walked over to the tv and turned it on. At first she was watching some other show until she flipped to the news. That's when I learned about what had happened. Y/n had saved me from my previous owner. Soon the door burst open and I could hear y/n's uneasy breathing. Her and Jade talked for a bit until I saw y/n heading towards the room. I quickly walked back to the bed and acted like I was asleep. Y/n slowly opened the door. I heard her sigh as she headed to the bathroom and close the door. I heard the shower go on. I opened one of my eyes to make sure she wasn't in the room. She wasn't. I got up and out of bed and headed towards the door. I opened it quietly and made walked down the hall to the kitchen. I saw Jade rushing around to get ingredients when she stopped dead in her tracks and saw me.

"Hello... You must be Google! My name is Jade how are you?" She asked smiling.
"I'm alright. Nice to meet you Jade." I said back. "May I ask what you are doing?" I said looking at the scattered ingredients.
"Well I'm making y/n and I breakfast! But now that you are here, I guess I'll have to make extra. Wait, do you IRLS even eat human food?" She asked.
"Yes. IRLS do eat human food. Plus may I help? I want to repay my thanks to y/n for saving me." I told her.
"So ya heard about it. I'm glad you did. Y/n does deserve the credit especially because of her injuries." Jade said as her smile faded.
"May I ask how she got them?" I asked curious. Jade looked at me with a flash of... Concern? But she shook it away.
"Some bitch named Nicole. She's been bullying y/n and many others for too long... Only a few days ago was it really horrible. Nicole beat the living shit out of y/n.. I feel so horrible that I couldn't be there for her..." Jade said as tears formed in her eyes. I walked over to her and pulled her into a hug.

We were like that for a while... Something about this hug reminded me of something that made me feel happy. Something I couldn't quite put my 'finger' on, but I shrugged it off. When we pulled away Jade giggled a bit. "Oh my. I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to get your shirt wet with my tears..." She laughed a little. I smiled. An actually happy smile... This feels so familiar! Why can't I remember? I sighed. "It's fine. I'm glad you feel better." She smiled brightly.
"Well if we are gonna make food we should actual start cooking then.." She said as she got out the rest of the items.
