"The police have no evidence to connect you. Looks like you're moving again, Nicole." said a man with a sign with the words Department of Social Services above his head. "You're moving to Montana and you're going to Fairview Hieghts."
"Great, so some rich kids can stick their hands down my pants," Nicole replied.
"Yeah? Well there's only a few places to put you. Sign."
"Why? Why do I have to sign that?" Nicole said with a vigorous attitude.
"Well, you don't, you can stay at the safe house. In three months you will be eighteen and no longer my responsibility," he said as Nicole grabbed the papers to sign them. As Nicole walked out of the office she flung the papers off the mans desk.

Kalin sat at the dining table playing around with his cereal.
"Things will get better once you start getting back in the swing of things, babe" said a woman with a voice as sweet as honey, who is his mother.
"You will feel better." Kalin said as he stormed off to school.
"Oh hey!" said his mother.
"What!" he replied.
"Don't forget this," as she handed him his phone.
"I'm such a jerk, I don't know what I would do without you," he said while kissing her cheek.
"Well, you could just download another one off the internet!", trying to be funny.
Kalin smiled anyways and walked to school.
