Inmost Souls

They wanted the world we have, no-they wanted to tell us what world we truly have.

I always thought that these wonders are ours. Now, it turns out we, the people of Euphoria are the only ones who thought so. Questions-these are what is rumbling in my mind right now, just like the weather I would be having this day. Thunders roaring, drops of water unending. My body? A chop soaked on water. They told me about everything all of our kind didn't know. They told me things I never would have imagined. Things I hope I didn't hear. "This is not the real world, this is a temporary amusement" those were the exact words keep on hitting me like bullets shot right into my mind. Just when I thought we had everything we could ask for, I thought wrong. The land where my feet are set is actually the land of isolation hidden underground. A world very much different from ours.

They say they didn't want any of chaos. What they want is our eyes to be opened; and with hesitation, heart full of doubts I was suddenly in a rush pace. Exhaustion eats every part of me, and as I wander I see deception. Children with rainbows above their head, unicorns beside them. Witches catching spells, others just to tease their apprentice. Mermaids on bays, trying to lure those sea-lovers to dive in. Grown-ups in clouds that carries them wherever they want. Our Elders with their pens writing on its own above thin air of stories from years way back before. All of these, the beaming cheers, the juvenile laughter, the sound of great music... everything a permanent amusement. I wanted to tell every single one of them, that behind the walls of this land will soon be destroyed just like every wonders we all thought we will forever have-extinct. How will we all be saved? When all of them, who told me everything about this were already inside our bodies. Them- who they said were the inmost souls.
