We walk back towards our camp, me glancing at our new "member." I don't like her already, okay? She seems like one of those girls who are too arrogant for their own good, but I'll have to endure it I guess, because eventually she'll get pissed at us and leave our pack.

"Ey! Don't lose the she-wolf!" Jake yells behind to us, who are around 30 feet back.

She jogs alittle to catch up to me, and I soon feel her at my side. I study her face more closely now- Soft feautures, full lips, a stern look in her eyes, and tear stained.

"Why were you crying?" I ask, our small camp coming into view.

"What are you talking about?" she replies bitterly.

"You were crying. Why?" I repeat. She stops walking suddenly, her eyes looking dangerously at me.

"Just leave it. Okay?" she snaps. I just shrug and we continue on our way.

"And this is our house." Seth calls from our porch, putting on a fake smile for her.

She gazes, confused, at our house. This house used to belong to Ian's parents', before they passed away in a car accident a few years back. He's been living with Jake and his family since, but this small cabin was left in his possession, and since we are all 18, we all live here.

It's only 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with a small kitchen and living room. There is plenty of forrest to hunt in, and the river is very close by. The main town is only 3 miles away, which is good, because we are there quite often.

"Am I staying here too?" she asks, walking into our old kitchen. She eyes everything suspiciously, like it is going to jump out at her and attack or something like that.

"Yeah. You'll be staying on the couch," Jake growls, pushing past us and going into his and Ian's room.

She scowls at him as he walks by, and sits down on the couch. She looks down at her jeans, then back up at us.

"Where's the town?" she asks, standing back up.

Ian just points quickly towards the direction of Blue Springs, and then goes into his room with Jake. Seth looks awkwardly at us, then opens the fridge and takes out a blue Gatorade. "Want any?" he asks. Me and Danni shake our heads.

"I'll be back soon." she says flatly, walking out the door.

"Seth, do we follow her?" I ask once she is out of the door.

"She'll be fine!" Ian calls from his room, which is very close down the hall.

"Shut it!" Seth growls to him, then looks back at me. "Word wouldn't have gotten around about her yet, so we're fine." he says, taking a large gulp of his drink.

I nod and Seth sits next to me, tossing me a red Gatorade even though I declined his offer. "There's something wierd about her, you know?" I say, running my fingers through my hair.

"She has to have some special power or something, I can just tell." he sighs. "Ian! Jake! Pack meeting, now!" he yells.

The two of them come walking in, looking more irratated then ever. They flop down onto the couch across from us, eyes fixated into ours.

"What?" Ian finally asks, flipping his shaggy blonde hair from his eyes.

"Do you think there's something weird about Danni?" Seth asks.

"No. And let's just call her she-wolf, because she isn't one of us." Jake retorts.

"Shut it. And answer honestly." he snaps back.
