Words Hurt

Today, one of my best friends when on one of her favorite apps and made a dance video to a song.
The song meant a lot to her, because that was her grandfather's, who recently passed away's, favorite song. He had a love for music and once before, had been a musician himself.
It had been a long ride for my friend, and she had just decided to stop greiving and get on with life. It was a beautiful song, and she brought it to life by her wonderful and inspiring dancing.
But, as many incidents happen, some careless and heartless WARTHOG decided to comment on her mini video in a very mean and hurtful way. They went on about 'how she wasn't a true dancer, how she is ugly and how she will always be alone.'
They had done this to her multiple times over the years.
This really hurt my friend (and I, who happened to be there at the time). The next day at school she told our group how she was going to 'delete her account' and told us how much pain she was in from one small comment.
If you let these ignorant people get to you, it will darken your day.
So all I ask is you THINK before you post online. Will it hurt people's feelings? Will it darken their day? Will you REALLY feel good about posting something negative to someone?
