Chell shot a portal onto a wall just outside the door and then shot it into another solitary cell she motioned at the door, telling Gordon and Alyx to go in. Chell got in, and just as the Combine came through the door of the prison, Chell closed the door. They went through the portal and Chell closed it. Only then did Chell notice how many buildings and watch towers there actually were. It was almost like a labyrinth! They heard more footsteps and as some combine crossed the corner Chell shot a portal at the wall behind them. They flinched, giving Chell enough time to shoot a portal at the wall beside them. They crossed through and Chell closed the portals. Gordan then took out the Combine soldiers out from behind.
