Pushing herself up from the sofa, Elizabeth decided that she had to stop feeling bad for herself and stop mulling over the situation and actually go through with what Roderick had planned for her. After wiping her face which felt raw and wet from all the crying, Elizabeth let out a little sniffle of a noise before heading to the bedroom to collect her wands, pack her belongings, and leave the Lestrange Manor for good.

The plan was to head over to Ollivander's shop where she would be in contact with the Order to relay all the information she knew and the message that Roderick had turned himself in. Entering the room, the silence bothered her more than anything as she hoped that Roderick would be sitting there at the end of the bed, ready to greet her with a hug. But, of course, it was only wishful thinking as she noticed his wedding ring placed over her wand that remained on the nightstand.

A lump developed in her throat once more as she tried to fight back the urge to break down once more as she carefully slid the ring off her wand and held it in her hands. She could only remember his final words to her, where he hoped that she would eventually grow to hate him so that she could move on with her life and live happily with someone else that he believed deserved her. If only Roderick understood how impossible it was for her to hate him, she could never bring herself to ever harbour ill feelings towards him. It didn't matter with the situation he had left her with, it was knowing and sharing in all the memories of what they had been through together.

Not to mention, she knew the reason behind him leaving, if he had up and left without warning, perhaps she would have found herself up with him, but he had been honest with her. And Elizabeth couldn't bring herself to upset with an honest man that only had good intentions.

Taking the ring, she removed the necklace around her neck and placed it on there to act as a pendant. She would keep it with her forever, even if Roderick didn't return to her, she would hold onto it. Just as he had promised himself to her, she had promised herself to him, and while Roderick held onto the hope that she would move on, Elizabeth didn't think it was going to happen. She didn't need another person to fall in love with to bring her happiness, all of her love would be dedicated to their child, making sure they were happy and cared for every single moment of the day.

Placing the necklace back on, Elizabeth grabbed her wand and had the rest of her items pack themselves into a trunk while taking a couple of Roderick's shirts in the process. Something to offer her some comfort for the long days ahead when she wasn't even guaranteed security. It didn't her very long to be packed and ready to leave, however, as she went to move her trunk, she heard the sound of someone arriving in the living room by the means of apparating.

Foolishly, Elizabeth was still holding onto the hope that Roderick had returned for her, as she walked out of the bedroom to hopefully greet him. But as she hurried out of the room and back into the living room, the sliver of optimism faded rapidly as she quickly noted that it was not Roderick that stood inside the room.

It was Evan.

Cautiously taking two steps back, Elizabeth swore under her breath as she realised that she had stupidly left her wand back in the room as her excitement and pathetic hope had gotten the best of her. Fear washed over as the anger was evident on her brother's face as he stood before her with his wand aimed directly at her face.

"Evan," she swallowed, trying to keep her voice steady, " what are you doing here? Why are you pointing your wand at me like that?"

"Where's your husband, Lizzy?" Evan sneered as he closed the space between them and pressing his wand to her neck.

Her eyes darted around the room as she shook her head, attempting to pretend that she didn't know what he was talking about. Obviously, he had an idea that Roderick wasn't there and she had a feeling he was toying with her to get her to reveal as much information as possible.

"I don't know," she answered, " I assumed he was out with some of the others on-"

"DON'T LIE!"

Evan's voice roared and echoed before Elizabeth was struck with the knockback jinx that caused her to fly back into the wall roughly. A sharp pain shot down her down as she grimaced, but she forced herself to look up to see that Evan was approaching her once more, probably to go in for a second strike.

Rather than wasting time to see what he would do, Elizabeth ignored the pain as much as possible and pushed herself up to escape her brother's wrath.  Her feet pounded against the floor and she had made it right to the doorway of the bedroom when she was hit directly in the small of her back that knocked her to the floor again. A cry escaped her lips as hit the floor as she bitten down on her tongue. Within seconds, she could taste the blood as it pooled in her mouth before she allowed it pour out of her mouth and onto the floor.

However, the sound of Evan's footsteps approaching down the hall pushed Elizabeth to reach her arm up and grab her wand from the bed. She brought herself to sit up, using the bed as support and aimed her wand towards the doorway to strike when Evan came for her. But just as she was lifting up her arm, she heard the sound of someone else arriving inside the home.

"Oh, Elizabeth! Come out to play with us!"

Her blood ran cold at the sound of Bellatrix's voice echoing through the hallway and with a wave of her wand, Elizabeth had the bedroom door slam shut before Evan could enter so she could push herself up to disapparate from the scene. But the pain was overwhelming as she struggled to stand and the door didn't remain as a barrier towards Evan as it was suddenly blown off the hinges.

Letting out another cry, Elizabeth shielded herself from the splintering wood that was flying all over the place, giving Evan a clear shot at her exposed stomach. Suddenly, after being struck by a red light, Elizabeth felt as though her skin was on fire as she hit the ground. But her skin was the least of her concern as she felt something warm trailing down her legs that caused her to look down suddenly, only to see blood.

"NO!" She screamed at the sight of the blood as she gripped her stomach in pain. "NO! NO! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

"What have we done?!" Evan yelled back at her. "You idiot! Do you realise what you and your traitor of a husband have done? What you have caused?!"

"FUCK YOU, EVAN!" she growled. "You all deserve everything that happens to you!"

It was probably best not to antagonise her brother, especially when she wasn't in good standings, but at the possibility of losing the baby to the attack filled her with rage and worry. But she knew she had to calm herself down enough that she could apparate or she risked splinching herself and that would prove to be detrimental. Over Evan's yelling, she could hear Bellatrix approaching the room and she knew once that mental bitch arrived, it would be over for her.

Taking a deep breath that even caused her pain, Elizabeth disregarded all of her belongings as none of it mattered as long as she got herself to safety and got herself the medical attention she needed to hopefully save the child. But with the amount of blood she was losing, the odds didn't seem to be in her favour. And as Evan wasted time, yelling at her, Elizabeth disapparated from the room, the manor, from the Lestrange property and got herself to safety before they could attack her further.

Poor Garrick Ollivander had just finished up with a customer, who came in to have their wand tuned, ready to have the day come to an end already. He walked the gentleman out the front door and waved them on before turning back inside to organise, just in case someone else came in for a wand that day. He was one wand away from being finished when he heard a crashing sound come from the back room.

Startled and believing that someone was attempting a break-in for theft, he hurried to the back, only to find Elizabeth on the floor, her lower half bloody and her entire body shaking. Her hands held her stomach before peering up at him in desperation.

"Help me, please."
