**Annies POV**
I'm super excited. I'm currently packing my bags, getting ready to leave for Katie's house. Not only am I excited to spend the whole summer with my best friend, but I'm very excited to spend the whole summer with the guy of my dreams. Brennan. I've had a crush on Brennan for a very long time. I don't think he likes me back, but that doesn't stop me.
Anyways, Hayley, Mom, & Dad are going to Pennsylvania for some "Woodward Junior Camp." I'm not going, since, first off, I quit gymnastics when I was thirteen. I found out that horseback riding and barrel racing was my real passion. I've always loved gymnastics, and I still will forever, but once I made it to level ten, I was done. Secondly, I'm fourteen. I'm too old for "junior" stuff.
My train of thought is interrupted by mom.
"Annie, are you finished packing hon?" She asked.
"Yeah, almost!" I respond.
I packed all of my best clothes and my best makeup, the best smelling shampoo and Brennan's favorite perfume, or so he's told me. He's very kind to me. I looked in my mirror, ran my brush and straightener through my hair once more, put on another coat of mascara and another coat of lipstick. Brushed my teeth, packed my Proactiv. I looked in the mirror a last time, inhaled deeply, and zipped my suitcase.
I walked downstairs with my heart racing like me in competition season. Hah, good pun Annie. I just high-fived myself.
Katie and I are inseparable, so I'm not sure if Brennan and I will talk all that much. Probably, since we are pretty close.
"Annie! Where'd you put my gel?!" Caleb yelled, trying to get my attention.
"I didn't touch it, grouchy!" I yelled back.
I ate my Cheerios and called Katie, letting her know that we were coming right away.
"Hurry up Caleb! Jesus!" I yelled.
"Annie!" My mom scolded, "watch your language! Don't take the lords name in vain!"
"Whatever, mom." I replied coldly.
Caleb finally came upstairs, and we tossed our bags in the trunk, as I hugged Hayley and Dad very tight.
"I love you guys so much. Have fun Hayley!" I said.
"Love you too Annie. Be responsible, mkay?" Dad told me.
"Yes dad." I replied.
"Buh-bye Annie! Soon I will be an amazing gymnast like you!" Hayley-not surprisingly-said.
"You're sweet. I'm not giving you any money." I laughed. She groaned and gave me one last hug. Caleb and I hopped in the car as my heart raced. A whole two months with Brennan? Oh no, but also an oh yes at the same time. My heart was on a roller coaster.
Sooner that we knew, we pulled up to Katie's house as we gave our mom one last hug.
Katie ran out and gave me a big hug. "Hey!" She squealed.
"Hey! I missed you!" I said. Since I've quit gym, I haven't seen her in a while.
We walked in, and I put my things in the spare room. I walked into the room beside me to see Brennan sitting on his bed.
