I'm Oscar. This is a story of despair. A story of torture. A story that most people find so disturbing they throw up. This is my story.

"Hey, O, are you going to the disco tonight? I heard that there is gonna be girls." Dylan asks excitedly. "No I have a doctor's appointment" I lie. Truthfully I hate my appearance. I don't like going to public events because people are so judgemental these days. "Shame. I was really looking forward to me and you hanging out" he sighs. The bell rings and a rush of people drag me out the door and onto the yard.

I lost Dylan so I began to walk home. On the way out of the gates an old lady approaches me and starts yelling in a different language. I make out the word "Beware" in the blur of her voice. I shrug and run off.

When I get home I dump my bag on the floor and sit down on the sofa. I turn the TV on and start watching Countryfile. I yawn and close my eyes.

Later that night I lay motionless on my bed thinking about what the lady meant by Beware. I startle when my phone starts ringing. It's Dylan. "What do want? Its eleven o'clock" I say groaning. "I'm scared" He weakly says. He is defiantly drunk. A scream drones through the room. "Dylan?" I ask curiously. Then I hear deep breathing. Suddenly the phone call ends.

That's when everything goes to shit.

The next day police cars are parked up outside my school and men from the press are everywhere. Dylan's parents are being interviewed whilst the other students are walking curiously around the school. " Can you tell us where your son was last night?" the reporter asks them. His mum tells them everything.

I run over to the reporter and say "He called me last night". The camera turns to me " He was by a road, I could hear the cars. The phone cut out after a scream." I continue. "The head master rushes out and tells me to go to my lessons. I nod and head towards my sociology class.

As the day progresses I can't stop thinking about Dyl. When the bell goes I dash out the door and begin my walk home. It doesn't seem real when the hand clasps around my mouth and the sharp jolt of electricity bursts through my body.

Dyl

At first I hated him. Then I grew to like him. He never treated me bad and fed me three times a day. One day he took me to the white wing. "Dylan, follow me" his calm voice said. He took his mask off just before the needle went into my arm and I fell into unconsciousness.
