"One." The man whispered, making slow strides towards Taekwoon's shaking figure.
"W-wait!" Taekwoon cried out, hold his hands out in front of him. Panic settled in as he didn't know what to do. Oh the irony of it all. He had waited twenty something plus years to meet the person he'd love for the rest of his life and now that he was standing right in front of him, he didn't know how to feel. Happy? That's all he really knew for most of his life so he couldn't describe the heaviness on his chest as the man approached him. He felt... dangerous.
"Two." The man stopped right in front of him, his eyes narrowing as he stared down at the shorter male. Taekwoons breath quickened as his body started burning. This isn't how it was suppose to be. He was suppose to meet the person as fireworks flew around them, not flies from a nearby dumpster.
"I-I can't go." Taekwoon finally got out. He flinched away as the man let out a low growl, displeased with Taekwoon's words.
"I'm not asking you if you can or can't. I'm telling you to fucking leave." The man responded, the veins on his neck becoming more prominent as the shorter fueled his anger pass his limits of restraint. "Three."
A cry left Taekwoons lips as a hand dug itself into his hair, gripping it tightly, but that wasn't the worst pain. The burning of his wrist made him let out a scream. A hand quickly sealed his lips as his back hit the wall, more gently than he expected.
"Shut the fuck up. If they find us, you're dead." The man whispered next to his ears, "Why didn't you just... Fuck. This is such a pain in the ass." The hand left his hair, settling itself on the wall near his head, it's owner merely arm's length away.
Taekwoon's cries turned into whimpers as the sting of his wrist intensified. He brought his arm up, cradling it into his chest. He stared down at it as something began to appear on it. His other hand came up to grab it, rubbing at it to soothe the pain away.
"Yah, what's wrong? Your wrist hurts?" The man whispered, his hands reaching for Taekwoon's wrist. Before the latter could get it out of reach, the man had grabbed onto it, lifting it up so it was eye level. "It doesn't seem broken. Did you hit it against the wall? I didn't even slam you against it that hard..."
Taekwoon stared up at the man, his touch ceasing the pain, only a weird sensation of feather like writing on wrist. His eyes trailed down the man's feature, finding the worry that was etched on it a little unsettling but it was better than the pure rage that was on it mere seconds ago.
"K.W.S.?"
"What?" Taekwoon asked as he stared at him in confusion.
"K.W.S." The man repeated, looking at him weirdly, "It's on your wrist."
Taekwoon yanked his arm away from the other man, the pain coming back almost immediately. "Uwahh." His face contorted into pain as he stared down at the writing on his wrist. Before he could voice any complaints about the pain he was feeling, loud footsteps made it's way towards them.
"Fuck... Stay right here and don't fucking move. Keep your head down." The other instructed him, hands reaching up to pull the hood over almond hair. Taekwoons face felt flushed at the sudden pat on his head before he heard the popping of knuckles. Disobeying orders for the first time— okay, second time— in his life, Taekwoon looked up just as a commotion started itself.
To say he was traumatized at the sight would be saying the least.
"Are you okay..." The man paused as he handed him a bottle of water.
"J-Jung Taekwoon..." It was now the latter's turn to make a pregnant pause. "I'm fine, thank you."
"Kim Wonsik." The man grinned, his demeanor completely different from the one that Taekwoon had just experienced not too long ago. Wonsik sat himself next to Taekwoon on the bench, his knees touching the latter's as they were at a child's park and the seats weren't made for two men their size. "Man," he sighed, "It's been awhile since I got to fuck up some trash like that."
