cries of pain
followed by anguish and sorrow
at what we saw
bodies scattered at the very roads
that once whitnessed love and unity
dozens and dozens
cowering in the shelter of their home
hiding in the shadows
hoping to escape the nightmare
that now terrorizes everyone
as they lie on the bloodied cement
taking their last breath
all they wonder is
'where did we wrong? what was our fault?'
the game continues in the name
of their beliefs to support a cause
that calls for innocent blood to be spilled
hate has no limits
terrorism has no religion
it is but to play with
lives of those who never did wrong
living in uncertainty
and fear of the unpredictable next
depicts the true meaning of
suffocation
will we find the solution to
a plague that intends to ruin us all?
will we fight in memory of those who tried and died
or will we lose for once and for all?
for now is the time to unify
no matter the religion, ethnicity
and political views to restore the world we
once knew
[ take out a little time to spread love and positivity - the people everywhere need it.you can never know when your life may change so let someone know their importance and contribute to diffusing the terror we have encountered. the atrocities we read about everyday in the news have ruined many lives xx]
