I hate school. I absolutely hate it. Everyone here is either extremely judgemental or a pervert. Except for one person. He's known as the school punk, but yesterday I discovered something.

I was walking down the hallway wearing my usual apparel. A flower crown, a white shirt with a Peter Pan collar, a pastel skirt, today it was lavender, white tights, and flats.

I was looking down at my phone, sadly I had no notifications. Then I walked right into him, Simon Minter. I fell and we both dropped our stuff. Simon quickly apologized and helped me up which was unusual for him to do. "No I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." Then he swiftly grabbed my stuff and gave it to me and said "Don't be sorry I'm fine, I should be sorry for knocking you down." We stood there silently for a good twenty seconds but it felt like an eternity. My heart started racing. I get really nervous around people in general so this whole experience was quite painful. "Well I better get to class, I don't want to be late." I said to speed things up. Then he said "Ok, have a nice day." Simon Minter is never that nice to anyone, why am I any different?

Once I got to class I noticed that I had a partially wrinkled up piece of paper that I did not have before the incident with Simon. I flattened it out so I could read it properly.

It was a poem. It was beautiful

"My loving star, how I wish that I could sweep you of your feet and make you mine. You're chocolate brown eyes and your perfect skin flood my mind. You're beautiful voice sings me to sleep in my dreams, and when I wake all I can think about is you. The way your eyes light up when you talk about the things you love. I wish you loved me the way I love you. I'd be the happiest guy alive. But, I am just a punk and you are a princess."

I wonder who that could be about. He sounds like he's madly in love with them. Whoever they are, they're the luckiest person in the world because secretly. I've had a major crush on Simon forever. I just watch him from a distance though as I am too afraid to talk to him and make a fool of myself.

He'd never like me. I'm just a freak, and he's a prince.
